INJ Research institutions join the ranks of Injective verification nodes
Four Pillars become Injective network verification nodes
Institution-level verification nodes and encryption research institution Four Pillars officially joined the Injective network and became one of the official verification nodes. The move adds a research-focused organization to Injective's collection of verification nodes while expanding the base of participants who maintain network security. With this addition, INJ holders can now delegate tokens directly to the Four Pillars verification node through the Aggressive Hub. Through Hub, users can pledge INJ, participate in governance voting, receive rewards, re-delegate tokens, and monitor the performance of verification nodes. The consignor receives pledge rewards by contributing to network security without having to operate the node itself.
Verify the importance of node diversity to Injective
Injective adopts a Tendermint based pro-of-stake consensus mechanism. Verification nodes ensure network security by pledging INJ tokens, and transaction verification is completed through the Byzantine fault-tolerant process to achieve instant final certainty. This design makes the quality and diversity of verification nodes a direct factor affecting network reliability. INJ is Injective's native functional token and plays multiple roles in the ecosystem, including governance, token destruction auctions, and pledge in the PoS network.
Commissioning a verification node like Four Pillars means far more than simply pursuing revenue. INJ also serves as a governance token, allowing holders to vote on network proposals. This means that delegators can tie their rights to verification nodes that are actively involved in protocol governance. Despite the decline in INJ prices and total online lockups, Injective will continue to attract institutional participation in 2025, covering regulated investment products, verification node operations, and new financial market products. The addition of Four Pillars as a verification node is in line with the general trend of research-oriented institutions and participants more actively integrating into network infrastructure.
