Cardano prices rebound and market sentiment may shift to accumulation
Cardano has risen 4% in the past 24 hours after experiencing several volatile markets earlier this week. The crypto asset climbed from approximately $0.164 to more than $0.17. The latest increase brings its monthly gain to about 12%. Against the backdrop of improving price structures, new data suggests the ADA may be entering a different stage.
Buyers hold firm
Anonymous analyst "The Boss" said that after a round of aggressive selling, ADA may be moving from panic selling to a more constructive accumulation phase. Analysts pointed out that there have been higher lows in recent trading hours rather than new breaks.
According to The Boss, buyers continue to defend an important demand range (US$0.1064 to US$0.1503), while the short-term uptrend line keeps the recovery structure intact. The analyst explained that the crypto asset is also compressing below the upper resistance level, indicating that the market is looking for the next directional change rather than continuing the previous decline.
The focus now is whether the emerging bottom can translate into a broader recovery. Maintaining current support and maintaining higher lows will strengthen the cumulative narrative and improve the overall market structure.
Further supporting the bullish view is the increase in giant whale activity. According to recent reports, large ADA holders have increased their total holdings to 25.6 billion tokens, close to 70% of the circulation supply, the highest level since February 2023. At the same time, retail holdings fell, and analyst platform Santiment said the combination could be good for assets. Analyst Ali Martinez found that in the past month, the giant whale has purchased a total of 30 million ADAs, worth more than $5 million. The new round of buying suggests that large investors may be preparing for the next step of gains.
At the same time, institutional interest also seems to remain stable. Recent data shows that the Cardano ETF has achieved net inflows for 16 consecutive months.
The bigger picture
For some market observers, the ADA's historical performance remains a cause for concern. One market observer pointed out that the token has been performing poorly for a long time, citing an example that if $10,000 had been invested at its all-time high five years ago, it would be worth only about $500 today. The post also mentioned that Cardano has fallen by about 84% since Trump included it in the proposed U.S. strategic crypto reserve in March 2025. Compared with its all-time high in August 2021, the token is still down about 95%.
Despite these data, Charles Hoskinson remains optimistic about the future of the ecosystem. The founder recently compared its development path to Anthropic's rise in artificial intelligence and said the company did not rely on speed to overtake Google and OpenAI, but on "the right mindset." Hoskinson said Cardano is undergoing a similar transformation, with developers and investors increasingly focusing on security and governance. He also cited the recent DeFi incident to emphasize how vulnerabilities can quickly affect the entire ecosystem.
He said that lasting stability requires clear governance, strong software development processes, and a sustainable roadmap. While admitting Cardano's past mistakes, Hoskinson is "satisfied" with the current state of the ecosystem and expects strong growth over the next 12 to 24 months.
