Analysts: Circle, Coinbase and Ethereum form the core of long-term investments

Analyst Doctor Profit pointed out that Circle, Coinbase and Ethereum form an interconnected ecosystem. His investment arguments revolve around tokenization, USDC growth and regulatory progress. The analyst disclosed that his portfolio allocation was 60% Ethereum and 40% Bitcoin.

analyst Doctor Profit detailed a long-term investment strategy centered on Circle, Coinbase and Ethereum, believing that these three are at the center of the growing digital financial ecosystem. He pointed out in the report that U.S. lawmakers are continuing to promote cryptocurrency-related legislation, while financial institutions are also expanding tokenization business and promoting the application of regulated stablecoins in financial markets.

BlackRock's correlation drives investment logic

According to Doctor Profit analysis, BlackRock's growing influence in the digital asset field has strengthened the connection between Circle, Coinbase and Ethereum. He said Circle manages most of the USDC reserves through a fund managed by BlackRock, while Coinbase serves as the custodian of BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust and multiple other U.S. cryptocurrency ETFs.

He also highlighted that Coinbase holds a stake in Circle and has a revenue sharing agreement related to USDC reserves. At the same time, Coinbase's Base network completed settlement on Ethereum, creating another layer of connection between what he called the "Galaxy Three."

According to the analyst, Ethereum also hosts BlackRock's BUIDL tokenized treasury bond fund. He added that Ethereum currently leads the tokenized real-world asset market, with locked assets worth approximately US$16.6 billion.

Regulation and tokenization remain key focuses

Doctor Profit also mentioned the pending CLARITY Act, arguing that it may provide additional legal certainty to the digital asset market. He pointed out that the bill covers aspects such as token classification, exchange supervision, stablecoins, decentralized finance and bankruptcy protection.

He further cited the Tokenization plan of the American Depository, Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC). According to its report, the platform relies on the Ethereum client Besu as a blockchain infrastructure that supports tokenized securities.

Bitcoin configuration is different from previous cycles

Although Doctor Profit said he is still bullish on Bitcoin, he disclosed that his portfolio currently holds 60% of Ethereum and 40% of Bitcoin. He believes that Bitcoin's future may involve anti-quantum upgrades, citing the recently announced Bitcoin Security Alliance.

The analyst also cited Coinbase research, which estimated that 20% to 50% of older Bitcoin wallet formats may face future quantum-related risks. He added that Circle's USYC tokenized treasury bonds products have grown to approximately $3 billion, while USDC's trading volume in June was approximately $1.21 trillion (data derived from its report).
