Zug, Switzerland, August 4, 2026-Collaboration to bring AmericanFortress's zero-knowledge security stack into the Casper ecosystem strengthens the privacy and quantum security initiatives in the Casper Declaration as institutional tokenization accelerates.
"Institutions do not tokenize valuable assets on a track where every position is public and cryptography has an expiration date. This cooperation has solved these two issues years in advance."-- Michael Steuer
Casper, a Layer 1 blockchain designed for regulated real-world assets and the machine economy, and AmericanFortress, a company that provides quantum security, compliant privacy infrastructure for existing blockchains, today announced a strategic technology collaboration to bring AmericanFortress's security and privacy stack to the Casper ecosystem.
Quantum Security Wallet
Casper plans to adopt ZKPoSP, American Fortress's latest post-quantum zero-knowledge hierarchical deterministic wallet solution, to supplement the quantum security initiatives being advanced under the Casper Declaration. ZKPoSP protects existing accounts before quantum computers become an actual threat-without address migration or user action.
Zero-knowledge compliance infrastructure
Each blocked transaction carries a zero-knowledge certificate of the sender, enabling Know Your Transaction (KYT) capabilities and travel rule preparation without exposing the user's identity-this is exactly the selective disclosure architecture that institutions already require on traditional financial tracks.
Cross-chain naming interoperability
The two sides will explore interoperability between American Fortress's FortsNames and Casper's existing CSPR.name on-chain naming system, starting with supporting named destinations in Casper's upcoming cross-chain bridge-so that users on either side can send to a human-readable and potentially completely confidential name without using the original address.
Built for regulated real-world assets
This collaboration directly serves Casper's core market: tokenization of regulated real-world assets. As a member of the ERC-3643 Association, Casper is providing the first non-EVM implementation of the compliant tokenization standard and is participating in the T-REX ledger, the institutional reference infrastructure for compliant tokenization. Auditable confidentiality and cryptography built for asset cycles of more than ten years are not options but prerequisites for issuers and institutions introducing regulated tools onto the chain. This cooperation solves both issues within the agency's recognized compliance framework.
Quantum security without secondary migration
Casper's pioneering adoption of quantum security in the industry has unique advantages: the protocol natively supports multiple cryptographic key algorithms-currently supports both Ed25519 and secp256k1-a flexibility that most blockchains lack. ZKPoSP's curve-independent key derivation scheme, QBIP32, works uniformly on both, meaning that the entire Casper account base meets the quantum protection conditions without exception.
Crucially, this approach will stand the test of time. Early post-quantum signature schemes forced users to use new address formats-if these immature algorithms were later cracked, users would face another migration. ZKPoSP relies on well-researched hash functions and zero-knowledge techniques to run in parallel with existing signatures. Users permanently retain their addresses, keys and funds.
"Institutions that tokenize real-world assets require regulatory auditable confidentiality and cryptography that is more durable than the asset itself," said Michael Steuer, president and chief technology officer of the Casper Institute. "AmericanFortress provides both and does not require anyone to relocate. Their non-hybrid architecture means privacy can still be verified by chain analysis-which is what regulated finance requires. Since Casper natively supports multiple key algorithms, we can adopt quantum security on the basis of all accounts in advance without requiring users to move. This is the way to do it."
"Casper builds the real-world asset chain that organizations actually need-deterministic finality, scalable contracts, and compliance embedded in the protocol layer through standards such as ERC-3643," said Michal Pospieszalski, CEO of American Fortress. "AmericanFortress builds the privacy and quantum security layers that these institutions also need. Our SDK can be embedded into the Casper stack without migration, and every account on Casper can be quantum secure before (not after) Quantum Day. Casper is the forward-looking ecosystem that this technology builds for."
The technical foundation of the quantum security pillar-"ZKPoSP: Post-Quantum Zero-Knowledge Proof of Layered Deterministic Wallet"-was released to the IACR ePrint Archive on July 21. The paper proposes a split proof architecture that protects existing wallets from quantum attackers without address migration, protocol changes, and user actions.
Integration milestones will be announced in the coming months through Casper and AmericanFortress official channels.
About Casper
The Casper Network (CSPR) is a Layer 1 proof-of-stake blockchain designed for regulated real-world assets and the machine economy.
With deterministic transaction finality, multi-virtual machine execution layers supporting WebAssembly and upcoming EVM smart contracts, and fixed-cost operations enforced at the protocol layer, Casper provides the infrastructure for compliant asset tokenization, frictionless consumer experience and autonomous machine-to-machine commerce.
The Casper Declaration-a multi-year technology roadmap for the web-advances nine coordinated protocol initiatives covering developer access, user experience, institutional compliance, privacy, micropayments and quantum security.
The Casper Association is a non-profit organization based in Zug, Switzerland responsible for protocol development and ecosystem growth.
About American Fortress
AmericanFortress builds a quantum-secure, compliant privacy infrastructure for the blockchain that organizations already use. Its plug-and-play SDK is powered by two patented technologies-Confidentiality Machine and FortsNames-to provide private, compliant, quantum-secure transactions without migration.
Based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, AmericanFortress has raised more than $9 million and has a portfolio of 14 patents granted, allowed or pending covering privacy transactions, zero-knowledge identities, custody and quantum security cryptography, and has won five consecutive international entrepreneurial competitions, including first place in Token2049 Dubai and Bitcoin 2025 Las Vegas. Its partners include MetaMask (whose Snap integration allows the technology to reach more than 30 million monthly active wallets), 0G, LitVM and others.
