Uniswap is preparing to launch pools.trade on Robinhood Chain
Uniswap is gradually moving closer to activating its exclusive launch platform on Robinhood Chain. The platform is called pools.trade, and its official website has been marked as "Live Soon", with the countdown pointing to the official launch of 4:00 pm UTC on August 5.
pools.trade is designed to support the creation and issuance of tokens directly on Robinhood Chain. If it becomes a more native Uniswap launch platform, it will integrate Uniswap's existing features: its own issuance and price discovery mechanisms, v4 pools, Launches information flow for distribution, and the Uniswap interface for transactions.
Robinhood Chain will be launched on July 1, 2026. As an Arbitrum Orbit L2 network, its settlement layer relies on Ethereum. The Uniswap protocol and UniswapX are already running on the chain, and are also supported by Uniswap web applications, wallets and APIs, and Robinhood serves nearly 28 million users.
The growing ecosystem of launch platforms
The launch of pools.trade coincides with a surge in activity on Robinhood Chain. In July 2026, more than 340,000 new tokens were launched on Uniswap through the launch platform on Robinhood Chain, generating US$3.6 billion in transaction volume.
Uniswap has also launched the Launches beta tab in its web app, which brings together tokens from launch platforms that use Uniswap as a trading infrastructure, including Bankr, Pons and Long. The platform's integration with the Uniswap v4 protocol introduces features such as hooks and custom liquidity pools, which may provide unique advantages over competitors.
Competition in the token issuance space is becoming increasingly fierce, with platforms such as Pump.fun providing simplified token creation tools on different blockchains. Within three weeks after Robinhood Chain was launched, the cumulative total locked value was approximately US$431 million, the market value of stablecoins was close to US$400 million, and the cumulative decentralized exchange transaction volume was close to US$9 billion. Although the network has long focused on tokenized assets, more than 80% of decentralized exchange activity still comes from memein transactions.
