XRP standard proposal boosts XRPL growth narrative

XRP standard proposal promotes upgrades of multi-signature coordination mechanisms

A new XRP ledger standard proposal introduces an on-chain multi-signature coordination framework to improve the reliability of enterprise-level transaction approvals. The proposal was co-written by Shawn Xie and multiple XRP ledger contributors. The core goal is to migrate the signature coordination process directly to the blockchain for execution.

Current multi-signing workflows require participants to coordinate signatures outside the network, which relies on an independent coordinator to manage the approval process. Vet, a member of the XRP ledger community, pointed out that the proposal is designed to address this operational bottleneck. On-chain coordination mechanisms are expected to reduce transaction failures due to unavailability of coordinators or missing signatures.

Enterprise-level infrastructure continues to expand

The proposal focuses on improving operational efficiency rather than introducing new financial functions. Institutions often require multiple approvals before executing transactions. Eliminating external coordination links can simplify fund management operations for corporate blockchain users while improving transaction reliability in high-value settlement processes. This engineering-oriented proposal is consistent with the broader infrastructure direction of XRP ledgers, with network enhancements increasingly supporting institutional payment and custody needs.

XRP ledger real-world asset holdings have increased significantly

The latest statistics show that the tokenized ecosystem of XRP ledgers is expanding rapidly. In the past month, the number of real-world asset holders has grown by 25.16%, with the total value of tokenized assets within the network reaching approximately US$4.06 billion, while broader XRP ledger estimates have pushed this figure up to nearly US$4.3 billion.

This growth trend is closely related to Ripple's recent investments in ZILO and Licuido. Both companies are focused on developing institutional infrastructure that supports tokenization and collateral liquidity services. As of the time of writing this article, XRP is trading at approximately US$1.04, and the overall market is showing a moderate weakening trend. Despite this, infrastructure construction and increased participation in tokenized assets are still the focus of current market attention.
