Venice Token ($VVV) rose by about 7%, and the annualized revenue of the privacy AI platform exceeded 100 million.
On August 17, Venice Token ($VVV) rose by about 7% to reach US$12.64, ranking among the top gainers among CoinMarketCap's major tokens, with transaction volume surging by more than 140%. The catalyst for this trend comes from co-founder @ErikVoorhees 'disclosure that privacy-first AI platform @AskVenice has achieved annualized revenue of more than $100 million, a milestone that highlights the amazing rate of expansion of the project since its launch.
From unicorn to US$100 million ARR
Venice AI maintains a strong growth curve in 2026. The company completed a $65 million Series A financing round with a valuation of $1 billion, led by crypto venture capital firm Dragonfly, with participation from Coinbase Ventures and North Island Ventures. CEO Erik Voorhees told the media at the time that when it raised funds in July 2026, Venice had achieved profitability, with annualized recurring income exceeding US$70 million. The $100 million figure mentioned by Voorhees this week marks a new level for this level.
The company positions itself as a private and unrestricted alternative to mainstream AI services and claims it does not record or store users 'prompts and replies on servers, but instead retains conversations on users' own devices. Currently, the platform handles approximately 1.7 million API calls per day, covering more than 200 models such as text, images, audio and video.
New product features and DIEM supply updates
While announcing revenue results, Venice also launched a new creative tool for its Studio features. A hand-drawn tool called "Doodle Tool" has been added to the image editor, allowing users to convert sketches on the canvas into generated images.
The platform also increased the target DIEM supply to 39,000, the second phase of a four-phase gradual increase in supply until September 14. Venice's VVV tokens are tied to APIs and inferred access rights. Users can deposit VVV to coin a second token, DIEM, which is designed to permanently generate the equivalent of $1 worth of Venice API points per day. This allows users and autonomous agents to lock in predictable, permanent access to AI computing power, positioning DIEM as the core financial infrastructure in the emerging on-chain AI economy.
The gradual increase in supply is aimed at meeting growing demand while maintaining a balanced token economy. Accelerating revenue growth, new product features and increasingly tightening token supply plans together provide traders with clear reasons to push up $VVV. As competition intensifies in the privacy AI space, whether this momentum can continue will depend on Venice's ability to maintain its user and revenue growth.
