Uniswap promises to launch Arc on its first day of launch. Uniswap has confirmed that once Circle's new blockchain is open to the public, it will run on Arc immediately.

Circle has set the Arc public mainnet release date for September 16, 2026, and Uniswap is one of the DeFi protocols that promises to be ready from day one.

This move brings Uniswap v4, liquidity pools, redemption routing and developer tools to Arc in preparation for the launch of the network's public main network.

Arc is currently in the private mainnet phase, with more than 100 ecosystem and institutional builders, and plans to launch the public mainnet on September 16, 2026.

Circle first announced the network on August 12, 2025, and launched the public testnet on October 28, 2025. During the testnet phase, the network processed more than 244 million transactions.

A unique collection of institutional validators

BlackRock, DTCC, Galaxy, Global Payments, ICE, MasterCard, MoneyGram, SBI Group, Standard Chartered Bank, Sumitomo Corporation and Visa will work with Circle to ensure cyber security.

Circle announced its founding team on August 5, 2026.

Circle CEO said on the company's second-quarter earnings conference call that the lineup is a "team of validators unmatched by other networks."

BlackRock expects to deploy its tokenized money market fund BUIDL on Arc, while DTCC will tokenize its custody assets, but not until the second half of 2027.

Arc is an open Layer-1 blockchain that is collectively operated by license verifiers, and Gas fees on the network can be paid by the USDC.

Arc will launch applications covering DeFi protocols such as Aave, Morpho and Uniswap as well as stablecoin payment providers and wallet infrastructure on its first day of launch.

Circle has also partnered with DTCC to allow tokenization of assets held by DTC on Arc. This connection allows market participants to use third-party applications to conduct stablecoin native settlement of DTC tokenized assets.
