SOL Solana's update log on August 13: The test net out-blocking time was shortened to 250 milliseconds
Solana's update log on August 13 listed a number of function gating, aiming to shorten the test net out-blocking time to 250 milliseconds, while uniformly optimizing the test net and development net out-blocking time to 300 milliseconds. In addition, the log also contains a series of updates to the client, SDK, and verification node.
The Solana Foundation's update log is a project summary, which does not mean that every function listed has been launched on the main network. The entry distinguishes between released versions, proposals, and ongoing work in the ecosystem.
Client version and verification node work
The release list includes Agave v4.3 plan, v4.2.0, Firedance Testnet v26.08.0, Mainnet 1.1.4, and Frankendance Mainnet versions. The log also points out changes related to program caching, vote verification, transaction processing, and snapshots under development.

Hosted event update
The same log entry reported a routing issue on August 12 that affected hosting facilities used by multiple authentication nodes in the Frankfurt area. The foundation said the Solana network remained operational during this period and attributed this to the fact that the amount of affected pledges did not exceed the consensus threshold mentioned in the article.
