Newberg and Securitize launched the tokenized high-yield fund HINC on Sui and three other chains. The fund invests in high-yield bonds, mortgage certificates (CLOs) and leveraged loans, expanding the scope of tokenized fixed income. This release marks the first time Securitize has integrated with Sui, and Newberg's first time in a deputy advisory role.
HINC joins Matrixdock, R25, KAIO and Mubadala Capital as part of Sui's growing institutional RWA base assets. Sui has confirmed its first integration with Securitize through the launch of the Newberg Securitize High-Yield Tokenized Fund (HINC).
The fund brings high-yield bonds, mortgage certificates and leveraged loans to the Sui Network. HINC has broken through the treasury bonds and money market products that have so far dominated the tokenized fund field. Newberg serves as deputy adviser to the fund, while Securitize provides regulated tokenization infrastructure. This release also covers Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui networks.
HINC brings new fixed income strategy to Sui
HINC is an actively managed fund that focuses on high-yield bonds. The strategy also includes mortgage vouchers (CLOs) and leveraged loans as supporting assets. To date, most tokenized funds have concentrated on treasury bonds and money market instruments. This release introduces a high-yield fixed income category that is rare in tokenization forms.
Newberg, as deputy adviser, contributed his expertise in the fixed income field to the fund. The company's platforms manage more than $230 billion in assets. This is the first time Newberg has participated in a tokenized fund as a deputy adviser. Securitize continues to function as a leading provider of tokenization infrastructure for regulated products.
Adeniyi Abiodun, co-founder and CPO of Sui's original contributor Mysten Labs, called the release a key milestone, noting that HINC represents "the first integration of Securitize and Sui, marking a major shift in the trajectory of institutional tokenization." He explained that asset management companies are increasingly moving beyond basic tools to networks that can handle the complete regulatory complexity. Abiodun added that Sui was "designed for this level of complexity" and said it was exciting to see HINC joining the network's expanding institutional asset base. His comments point to a broader trend: Asset managers are seeking compliance-ready infrastructure before putting capital up the chain.
Sui expands its institutional RWA ecosystem
Sui shared the integration news through his official X account, positioning HINC as a step beyond typical tokenized products: "Sui's first integration with @Securitize is now online. High-yield tokenized funds (HINC) bring high-yield bonds, mortgage certificates and leveraged loans onto the chain, surpassing the Treasurys and money markets that have so far driven most tokenized funds." The post noted that so far, most tokenized funds have focused on treasury bonds and money markets. HINC changed this model by introducing high-yield fixed income exposure on-chain.
HINC joins existing institutional activities on Sui from companies such as Matrixdock, R25, KAIO and Mubadala Capital. Together, these initiatives broaden the range of tokenized financial products available on the network. Together, they reflect institutions 'growing interest in Sui as a regulated asset infrastructure.
Carlos Domingo, CEO and founder of Securitize, said Sui has built "a strong and rapidly growing ecosystem with infrastructure and developer community to support next-generation on-chain financial products." He pointed out that HINC became the first available asset on the network issued by Securitize. Domingo added that "tokenizing assets is just the beginning" and explained that their value will grow with broader availability in the on-chain economy. He said extending Securitize assets to blockchain ecosystems like Sui builds long-term connectivity for investors.
It is expected that by 2030, tokenized real-world assets will grow significantly across the industry. As traditional financial products continue to migrate up the chain, Sui's programmable infrastructure provides the foundation for more complex products. Eligible investors can obtain more detailed information about HINC directly through Securitize.
