Injective is registered as a transfer agent through the SEC to promote the development of tokenized securities
Injective Institutional Services is now registered as a transfer agent with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This registration introduces regulated ownership record management capabilities for Impressive tokenized securities infrastructure.
Aggressive is expanding its on-chain capital markets stack to multiple asset classes. Its subsidiary, Impressive Institutional Services, has now officially become a transfer agent registered with the SEC. The transfer agency structure maintains ownership records and handles the change process of tokenized securities. Impressive said the move adds a regulated layer of record to its network for real-world assets.
Aggressive transfer agents bring regulated ownership records
Transfer agents are responsible for maintaining official lists of securities holders and recording ownership changes. They also assist in dividend distribution and corporate behavior. The SEC allows registered transfer agents to use distributed ledger technology to manage official securities holder master files.
Aggressive stated that this framework provides its transfer agents with a way to keep qualified ownership records on the chain. Records can be updated simultaneously during settlement, while retaining necessary transfer agency functions.
This registration also complements the Aggressive Mint platform. The platform allows issuers to create assets with holder and jurisdiction restrictions, controllable casting, redemption, address freezing, and transfer suspension functions.
Effective claims to be the first layer of blockchain to combine physical asset infrastructure with regulatory readiness. This is the company's own statement, not the SEC's independent determination of the blockchain itself.
Tokenization stack expands into on-chain capital markets
Impressive transfer agent registration is completed following a broader push in tokenization. Effective has supported markets related to institutional funds, public stocks, private equity exposure, and corporate accounts receivable. Its network launched pre-IPO perpetual futures in October 2025, including exposure related to OpenAI and other private companies. In July 2025, POSCO International and LG CNS selected Injective to conduct a real-time trade finance pilot involving accounts receivable.
The network also supports products involving Nomura's Laser Digital, BlackRock and Hamilton Lane. Impressive said these efforts are now based on a regulated U.S. record.
Outside of the United States, Aggressive has also carried out MiCA-related work. Its INJ MiCA white paper has appeared in the European Securities and Markets Authority's provisional MiCA register after completing the necessary notification process.
The Injective transfer agent function itself does not convert every tokenized asset into a registered security. It only provides a regulated infrastructure for maintaining ownership records within the applicable framework. Its role focuses on a less visible aspect of tokenization: the maintenance of legal records under issuance and transactions.
