Sheridan, Wyoming, August 20, 2026, Chainwire

THEO has now started trading tokens on Hydrex-Autheo Internet Operating System

Following the announcement on August 14, THEO entered the open market for US$0.05. The main network is protected by 125 validators. The testnet has more than 2 million wallets, 1.1 million smart contracts and 10 million transactions.

Autheo confirmed that THEO, its native utility token for its Internet operating system, is now officially launched on Hydrex, a full-chain liquidity MetaDEX platform based on the Base chain. THEO entered the open market at a reference price of US$0.05 to USDC, and Enflux served as the official market maker.

Unlike many blockchain projects that enter the public market before they gain practical application, THEO's launch is built on a running ecosystem-powering Autheo's Internet operating system, and its main network is secured by 125 validators.

Token Economics

THEO's maximum supply is 7 billion tokens, of which approximately 5.33% is designated as the initial circulating supply at the time of the token generation event-an initial market value of approximately US$18.66 million based on a reference price of US$0.05. The vast majority of this allocation is for liquidity, and the majority of the liquidity has been locked in or otherwise unavailable for trading. The fully diluted valuation of $350 million represents the theoretical value of all tokens when in circulation, but the token issuance will deliberately proceed gradually over 10 years, introducing supply very slowly. The model, which has been developed over several years and has the contribution of two doctoral researchers in token economics, aims to support a sustainable network economy and coordinate long-term incentives.

Purpose of THEO

THEO powers the economy of the Autheo Internet operating system-it is a native practical and coordinated asset that connects users, developers, infrastructure providers and validators. It is used to pay for computing, storage, networking, messaging, artificial intelligence services, containers and other decentralized infrastructure, while also rewarding providers who contribute resources to the mesh network. THEO also supports verifier and infrastructure node participation, pledge, network security, governance, transaction fees, and provider incentives. When applications and businesses consume resources, THEO provides an economic mechanism through which needs are measured, fees are paid, and allocated to participants who provide and secure infrastructure.

Release partners and future outlook

Publishing partners include Hydrex and Enflux (market makers). Autheo's infrastructure has passed multiple layers of independent security audits, Halborn audited the testnet and verifier node platform, CertiK audited the main network and smart contracts, and Avelar Labs audited the Base Autheo main bridge. Deployment and hosting of decentralized infrastructure is supported by Zeeve, InfStones and Antier.

ApeBond is expected to launch an on-chain OTC bond program shortly after listing, through which participants can obtain THEO at a discounted price and adopt a lock-in structure, designed to support the agreement's own liquidity.

With THEO now publicly traded, Autheo is entering the next phase of its deployment and is expected to announce more strategic partnerships, exchange listings, product launches and ecosystem initiatives in the coming weeks.

"Over the years, we have quietly built-networks, infrastructure, audits-knowing that a token without a viable platform is just a token, not an economy," said Todd Mortenson, founder and managing director of Autheo. "THEO is now online-for the first time, the public can directly participate in building the Internet operating system, expanding the Autheo ecosystem, and shaping the THEO economy-an economy designed together for developers, infrastructure providers, validators, businesses and users. The world is not short of tokens, what is missing are economies worth participating in-built on a working infrastructure, secured by real validators, and driven by real online participation. This is exactly what the Internet operating system can achieve. Today, this economy opens its doors to the world with THEO."

How to buy THEO

Steps to buy THEO on Hydrex: (1) Install an EVM-compatible wallet and add a Base network;(2) deposit USDC on the Base network into your wallet;(3) access hydx.fi and connect to your wallet;(4) verify the official THEO contract address and select the THEO/USDC transaction pair;(5) confirm redemption. Hydrex provides permission-free, non-custodial trading services through connected wallets.

Build on Autheo

With the launch of the Mainnet and THEO is now publicly traded, Autheo invites developers to put the network into practice. Whether building decentralized applications, financial infrastructure, artificial intelligence applications, or identity solutions, developers can now build and deploy directly on the Autheo main network.

About Autheo

Autheo is building an Internet operating system-a decentralized coordination and execution layer that unifies computing, cloud, storage, artificial intelligence, networking, microservices, identity, security and blockchain, and has native IBC interoperability.

Founded by Scott Bayless and Todd Mortenson, the Autheo main website will be launched on May 14, 2026. The project is jointly managed by four entities: Autheo, LLC (Wyoming-operating), Autheo Labs, LLC (Wyoming-developing), THEO Token Ltd (The British Virgin Islands-token issuer) and Autheo Foundation (U.S. non-profit organization-agreement administrator).
