Kaspa ($KAS) joins the NowPayments ecosystem

Kaspa's native token,$KAS, is now integrated into the NowPayments platform, providing businesses and individuals with a new method of encrypted payments that send encrypted payments to partners and employees without paying network or service fees, and settlement can be completed in less than a second.

NowPayments is an important player in the field of crypto payment gateways, standing out for its customized solutions and wide applicability across industries. Focusing on areas such as games, NFT marketplaces and e-commerce, the platform provides customized API solutions for integrating encrypted payments into different business models.

The speed advantage of this integration stems from Kaspa's core architecture. Kaspa uses a BlockDAG (Block Directed Acyclic Graph) rather than a nonlinear chain structure, which can process multiple blocks in parallel, achieving sub-second acknowledgements, high throughput, and near-zero cost, while maintaining complete proof-of-work decentralization. The network currently processes about 10 blocks per second, and plans to further increase it to 32 to 100 blocks per second and even higher.

Targeting traditional payment systems

This initiative aims to position $KAS as a practical alternative to traditional payment tracks, which are often slow and costly, especially in cross-border or high-frequency trading scenarios. KAS is a decentralized cryptocurrency that is not limited by geographical boundaries, allowing companies that accept KAS to reach a global customer base without relying on complex cross-border payment systems.

Merchants can receive $KAS and immediately convert it into stablecoins, thus avoiding the risk of cryptocurrency price fluctuations while enjoying Kaspa's high speed and extremely low fees. This integration is also in line with the recent development momentum of Kaspa Network.

Kaspa's codebase has recently undergone the most significant change-the Toccata hard fork, which activated native programmability, KRC-20 token support, and zero-knowledge proof verification on the main network in June 2026. Together, these developments show that the project is moving far beyond its original payment-centered scope.
