Solana's network revenue topped $1 million on August 19, the highest single-day total in two weeks shown by Blockworks's Network REV dashboard-which tracks both transaction fees and out-of-agreement tips. Solana's network revenue exceeded US$1 million on August 19. Almost all comes from one source. Based on a direct interpretation of the dashboard chart, priority fees accounted for approximately 61% of the day's revenue. Jito's tips-the fees paid by MEV searchers to build service-routing transactions through Solana's largest block-accounted for about 13%. A Teraswitch routing failure affected 102 pledge verifiers, but Solana continued to process transactions and generate blocks.

Actual source of funds

Network revenue consists of four components, which have different weights in a single day: priority fee: The fee paid by users to queue for block space during busy hours. Jito tip: Fees paid through Jito's MEV infrastructure bundled transactions. Base fee: Fixed fee per Solana transaction. Voting fee: The fee incurred by the validator's own voting transaction.

This classification is consistent with another data from Jito himself. Nine days ago, on August 10, Jito reported a 45% drop in its own agreement revenue because its newer BAM system had been expanded to cover about one-third of Solana's validator pledges, a change that diverted more transaction traffic from Jito's tip auction. The two numbers track different objects-Jito's own agreement revenue and his tip share of Solana's network revenue-but they point in the same direction: Even on Solana's most expensive day in weeks, Jito's share remains slim.

The label "six-month high" may not hold sway

DATA: @Solanareported reported that online revenue exceeded $1 million on August 19, the highest level in the past six months. August 24, 2026

Solana itself described August 19 as the highest revenue day for the Internet in six months. This comparison is based on data from Blockworks over the past six months, which cannot be obtained directly for this article because the dashboard's complete chart data is loaded on the client. This statement also seems fragile. It is reported that Solana achieved daily income of US$2.3 million two days later on August 21, which is the second highest single-day income since September 2025 and more than double the total on August 19. If this data is true, then no matter what record was set on August 19, it will not last for 48 hours.
