Destiny Files: A destiny simulation game based on verifiable AI
Singapore, Singapore-July 17, 2026
Destiny Files allows players to experience life narrated by AI in multiple worlds, preserve a destiny worth remembering, and leave traces that may appear in subsequent player stories.
ARPA Network today launched Destiny Files, a verifiable AI-driven destiny simulation game built around randomness, narrative, and player persistent memory.
Destiny Files allows players to experience a complete Sims in three worlds: modern, Cultivation or Western fantasy. Each game starts with a verifiable random seed generated by ARPA Randcast, the ARPA network's on-chain verifiable random number generator. Players then choose talents, assign attributes, and experience a life shaped by deterministic game logic and narrated by AI.
At the end of each game, players receive a title and a summary of who they have become. They can choose to let this life disappear or engrave it in their archives. Once preserved, the engraved destiny may appear in the stories of other players as rumors, records, prophecies, relics, warnings, or myths.
"Destiny Files" is designed around a simple concept: the generated life does not have to disappear at the end of the game.
"AI makes it possible to generate more personalized stories, but endless generation alone will not bring life to the world," said Felix Xu, CEO of ARPA Networks. "With Destiny Files, we wanted to explore what happens when the resulting life has structure, memories, and can influence the experience of other players. Randcast provides a verifiable origin for each game, while the game engine calculates the underlying destiny, and AI gives the destiny a voice."
Unlike pure AI story generators, Destiny Files separates game logic from narrative. The core destiny path is determined by random seeds, the talents selected by the player, the attributes assigned, and the game event system. AI converts these calculated results into readable narrative moments, character summaries, destiny titles, and mythological allusions.
This design allows Destiny Files to strike a balance between unpredictability and structure. Players gain lives that are both unexpected and personal, while the underlying system retains rule-based causal logic and replayability.
"Destiny Files" launches three world settings:
Modern world
A world shaped by family, wealth, health, intelligence, charm, work, relationships, stress and timing.
Cultivation (Xianxia) World
A world full of spiritual roots, sects, breakthroughs, forbidden techniques, heavenly tribulations and the pursuit of longevity.
Western Fantasy World
A world full of magic, kingdoms, blood, monsters, relics, curses, ancient gods and unfinished legends.
The game is free to play. Players can complete the complete game, get a life summary, and share destiny cards without paying. Inscription is an optional feature that serves as a game preservation layer that allows selected lives to enter shared archives and may appear in the narratives of future players.
"Destiny Files" also introduces a "world pollution" mechanism: the preserved fate of players may become part of the narrative texture of future games. Over time, archives will gradually evolve into a shared mythological system shaped by the lives players choose to preserve.
Future updates may introduce more world lines, expanded event libraries, deeper engraving mechanisms, wallet-based identity experiments, and more ways to let the fate of preservation influence future gameplay.
"Destiny Files" is now online.
