Create a simpler interface for pioneer users

Pi Network has launched the first phase of a redesign of its mining applications, bringing the most significant interface update to the platform in recent years.

This update focuses on optimizing side menus and profile pages to make it easier for pioneer users to find, understand and use important ecological features.

The redesigned side menu and profile page make core functions such as mainnet lists, mining information and Pi apps easier to access.

In addition, apps now support dark mode-one of the most anticipated features in the community.

This is just the beginning of a broader, iterative update of the Pi mining app and home screen, reflecting feedback from pioneer users wanting a new look and better experience. The project party stated that future interface improvements will be gradually rolled out, and community feedback will guide subsequent steps.

Part of the broader development drive

While the application interface is updated, the protocol is also undergoing a major upgrade. Pi plans to upgrade to the v25 protocol on Wednesday, July 22. The upgrade focuses on improving network stability and reliability, while adding new features to more efficient and privacy-friendly smart contracts. [TAG

Protocol v25 introduces the BN254 encryption algorithm and Poseidon hash algorithm, two technical foundations that enable developers to build modern zero-knowledge applications that allow users to verify the validity of claims without compromising privacy.

The Pi mining app is one of the most important interfaces in the Pi ecosystem, supporting a community of over 60 million active pioneer users. The redesign of the mining app adds a user experience dimension to an infrastructure-focused development cycle, and the team is working to grow the platform into a broader Web3 app ecosystem.
