AI robots completed 1.43 million autonomous payments on the XRP ledger, opening a new stage of blockchain commerce.
Artificial intelligence robots have begun to actively conduct transactions on the XRP ledger (XRPL), marking the use of autonomous algorithms in the blockchain business application field has entered a new stage. Ayo Akinyele, director of engineering at RippleX, a subsidiary that supports XRP and XRPL tools and infrastructure development, detailed how these AI agents independently perform and fund various network operations.
1.43 million AI-led transactions on XRPL
According to official data from the dashboard on the t54.ai platform chain, AI-driven agents executed 1,433,836 transactions through automated procedures alone. This activity reveals how AI programs use blockchain as a fully functional settlement layer to manage purchases and payments without direct human intervention. Previously, payments for technical services such as subscriptions or server access required humans to hold a bank card. Today, through the x402 micropayment protocol and using both XRP tokens and RLUSD stablecoins, these AI robots can handle microtransactions and budget planning on their own. XRPL's fast confirmation time (3 to 5 seconds) and stable and low transaction fees provide these programs with greater autonomy, allowing them to automate transactions on a large scale.
What did robots spend on XRP and RLUSD?
Autonomous robots on XRPL are paying for a range of machine-to-machine services:
Financial data API access, including market analysis and real-time market data, can be used by trading AI to optimize capital allocation. For external information acquisition, robots pay data fees to financial technology protocols such as ClawBank for social discovery and use AskSurf for deep network analysis. For social media data, the robot supports its own queries on the platform and extracts a large number of text datasets for reference monitoring or machine learning training. AI inference service. Through the Heurist inference router, robots can rent computing power from other neural networks for a minimum of 0.003 RLUSD per request.
AI robots integrated into real business
Akinyele likens this evolution to the early days of cloud software, when unified standards emerged and machines held limited funds. Current infrastructure is reportedly expanding its coverage with plans to connect about a hundred e-commerce stores. RippleX's Ayo Akinyele compares the current market to the early stages of cloud computing, emphasizing that AI-managed wallets can now independently fund purchases and that standards for these processes are rapidly emerging. Chandler Fang, CEO of t54.ai, said that AI agents are about to surpass the digital services space. In the near future, these autonomous programs will be able to find deals and place orders for real products, such as smartphone accessories, on behalf of their owners. Secure payment for these transactions will be provided by the Trustline Protection Engine, which is capable of detecting and blocking suspicious activity. This marks the emergence of a self-sustaining business ecosystem where demand, payment and fulfillment processes are entirely managed by software. In this model, XRP serves as the main settlement asset for these automated transactions. With AI robots now able to buy and pay independently, a new market seems to be emerging, with software driving both supply and demand in XRP transactions.
