RedotPay launches XRP cards to transform currency holding into global consumption power.

RedotPay is expanding the real-life application scenarios of XRP ledger (XRPL) by launching a payment card that combines XRP-supported credit lines, Ripple's RLUSD stablecoins, and Visa's global payment network.

This move allows users to consume without selling XRP, further connecting digital assets with daily business activities.

It is worth noting that RedotPay is a financial technology company that serves more than 8 million users in more than 100 countries and regions, with an annualized payment processing capacity of approximately US$12 billion.

With this new card, users can use XRP as collateral to unlock credit lines at a loan-to-value ratio (LTV) of 50%. Loans are settled in RLUSD on XRPL, and the funds can then be used anywhere Visa is accepted, allowing users to retain XRP exposure while gaining daily spending power.

On the other hand, RLUSD serves as a settlement layer that leverages XRPL's high speed and low transaction costs to connect blockchain finance with traditional payment infrastructure.

For long-term XRP holders, this model provides a practical alternative to enjoying potential future price appreciation dividends without having to sell assets.

RedotPay's XRP card marks the next evolution of stablecoin payments

This launch comes at a time when stablecoin applications are accelerating. RedotPay reports that since 2026, the volume of card transactions driven by stablecoins has surged by 80% compared to the same period last year and 250% compared to the same period last year, reflecting the market's growing demand for blockchain payment solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing card networks.

Odelia Torteman, head of digital assets at XRPL Commons, discussed the new product with Taylor Bossung, head of corporate affairs at RedotPay. They pointed out how XRP cards allow users to free up spending power through XRP-backed collateral while keeping their crypto asset positions unchanged.

Their conversation also explored the broader trends shaping digital finance, including the rapid growth of stablecoins, blockchain-driven remittances, on-chain lending backed by tokenized assets, and the rise of proxy commerce-where AI-driven agents can initiate and settle payments autonomously.

This launch builds on RedotPay's expanding influence in the XRP ecosystem. In May this year, the company broadened XRP payment capabilities for millions of users; Ripple previously partnered with RedotPay to strengthen XRP-driven remittance services in Africa through faster and more efficient cryptocurrency-to-fiat transfers.

Why are these developments worth paying attention to? Because they position XRP ledgers as a broader infrastructure beyond cross-border payment networks. By combining RLUSD, XRP-backed credit lines, and Visa's global acceptance, RedotPay is helping build XRPL into an infrastructure for stablecoin settlement, tokenized lending, daily payments, and next-generation AI-driven commerce.
