Aptos prices continue to be under pressure, and technical indicators show that the market direction is unclear.

On Friday, Aptos (APT) continued to face downward pressure. After experiencing a sharp sell-off and forming a bearish pennant pattern, prices fell again. Although its ecosystem continues to develop and upgrade, and online activity remains stable during the consolidation phase, buyers have not been able to reverse the overall downward trend. As prices contract, market participants are weighing the direction of possible breakthroughs, with technical indicators including the Relative Strength Index (RSI) becoming the focus of close attention for traders.

Price Trend and Market Data

As of press time, Aptos was trading at US$0.6132, down 2.14% in the past 24 hours. In the past week, the token rose slightly by 0.27%. CoinMarketCap data shows that its 24-hour trading volume was US$36.55 million and its total market value was US$518.39 million.

analyst Crypto With Gopal pointed out that Aptos formed a bearish pennant pattern after a sharp decline in prices, which usually signals price consolidation before further directional movements. As token prices narrowed within the pennant boundary, volatility remained limited, and bulls failed to build the momentum needed to reverse. If prices decisively fall below the downward trend line, more selling may be triggered; and if they can clearly break through the resistance level supported by volume, it may reverse current bearish expectations.

APT's volatility in the pennant pattern has decreased, indicating that the bulls have not yet shown enough power to initiate a reversal. Sellers are paying close attention to the downward trend line, and once it breaks below, it may accelerate the downward trend.

CoinGlass data showed that APT futures trading volume increased 8.15% to US$71.14 million, while open positions fell 2.66% to US$73.52 million. The position-weighted funding rate remained positive at 0.0062%, reflecting a net payment of funds from long positions to short positions.

According to TradingView data, the RSI value is 46.80, still below the key 50 level, indicating that buying momentum has not fully recovered. However, the RSI is above its moving average of 43.88, implying an improvement. The MACD line reports-0.010, which is above the signal line-0.014, and the histogram shows a positive value of 0.004. These data suggest that short power is weakening as these indicators move closer to zero-axis neutral levels.

Ecosystem progress: AIP-146 and on-chain transactions

Development activity within the Aptos ecosystem remains strong despite weak prices. The Aptos Foundation recently launched AIP-146, a proposal that aims to allow unlocked pledged APT tokens to receive higher trading limits to meet high-load demands. Target applications include clearing, advanced decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and a comprehensive on-chain risk management system.

The program aims to provide developers with powerful capabilities to create fully on-chain financial markets, eliminating the need for off-chain infrastructure. The focus of increasing trading limits is to support complex transactions rather than simply increasing transaction speed.

According to AIP-146, pledging APT tokens allows for higher transaction limits, allowing complex DeFi workloads such as clearing and risk management to run efficiently on the chain.

In sync with AIP-146, Aptos also launched DecibelTrade, a native on-chain trading platform that emphasizes transparent settlement and intraday trading activity. DecibelTrade made its debut with the "I Pay for the First Deal" campaign to encourage user participation and provide incentives for early adopters.

While paying close attention to key resistance levels and technical signals such as RSI and MACD crosses, investors are increasingly using multi-currency portfolio management tools and real-time price alerts to respond to market changes.

These continued ecosystem enhancements highlight developers 'commitment to expanding Aptos' technical capabilities and trading infrastructure, even as market participants are closely watching short-term price movements and key support areas.
