NEAR received a new TD Sequential buy signal after falling 8.34%, and the market will pay close attention to the US$1.85 support area. Lower volume suggests selling pressure is easing, while $1.90 remains the first resistance level in a stronger rebound attempt.
Despite increasing competition at Layer 1, chain abstraction and AI infrastructure continue to support NEAR's long-term investment narrative. The outlook for NEAR has regained attention after technology buy signals, while the agreement's artificial intelligence and chain abstraction strategies are still attracting market interest despite recent weak performance.
TD Sequential buy signals shift market focus
Ali Charts reports that TD Sequential generates new buy signals. The previous sell signal accurately predicted an 8.34% market decline, while the latest reading points to a possible short-term recovery.

The four-hour chart shows that NEAR continues to fall from the US$2.00 region. Bearishness on the K-line dominated trading, with limited attempts to rebound. Selling pressure gradually subsided near the $1.85 support area.
Prices compressed after long-term downward momentum weakened. As the downward trend slows near recent lows, buyers are starting to respond. This behavior suggests that selling pressure may be close to being exhausted.
This technical signal is still an early sign rather than a confirmation. Traders still need stronger price action to verify reversals. Subsequent K lines will determine whether buyers can regain effective control.
Prices hold on to key support, resistance is ahead
NEAR was trading at about $1.87 after falling 1.64% daily. The trading session reflected a controlled sell-off rather than a large-scale liquidation. Price fluctuations are limited to relatively narrow trading ranges.
Early trading pushed the token lower from approximately US$1.91. The seller quickly suppressed the price to below $1.88. Buyers then stabilized trading near the $1.86 support area.
Multiple rebound attempts failed near the $1.88 resistance zone. This ceiling continues to limit bullish momentum in intraday trading. Any gain above $1.90 would boost recovery prospects.
Trading volume fell more than 23% to approximately US$154.9 million. Lower participation shows a weakening of selling momentum. Even so, stronger buying activity is needed before sentiment improves significantly.
AI and chain abstraction maintain long-term interest
In addition to price trends, NEAR also continues to attract attention through product development. The protocol focuses on simplifying user interactions with blockchain. Chain abstraction remains the core of this long-term strategy.
This strategy aims to eliminate friction between wallets, bridges and blockchain networks. Users can access decentralized applications without managing technical blockchain processes. A simpler experience is crucial to the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies.
NEAR also remains closely connected to the expanding AI narrative. AI applications increasingly require transparent infrastructure and verifiable digital ownership. In addition to providing decentralized asset management, blockchain technology can also provide these capabilities.
These developments have not weakened competition among Layer 1 ecosystems. However, the ecosystem still requires larger adoption and continued user growth. At present, signals of technological recovery and infrastructure progress keep NEAR's prospects under close market attention.
