Pi Network focuses on slice liquidity models

Pi Launchpad injects offering proceeds into liquidity pool

Pi Network used SLICE to test the completion of token distribution and elaborated on its Launchpad platform's core liquidity model. Instead of giving the proceeds of token sales directly to the project party, the network takes a different approach.

The Pi obtained from the token sale is not collected by the project party, but is injected into the liquidity pool together with the ecological token, laying the foundation for a healthy liquidity foundation from the beginning.

In terms of the SLICE experiment, this means that the SLICE token paired with Test Pi is injected into the pool at the end of the sale. This structure is designed to ensure that tokens have true trading depth immediately after issuance, rather than entering a market that is thinly liquid or lacks vitality.

From June 11 to June 28, more than 242,000 participating pioneer users invested a total of 15.92 million Test Pi to obtain 10 million SLICE test tokens.

SLICE is associated with the game "Slice of Pi" and provides a real-world application scenario for Pi to test its participation reward feature.

The team has confirmed that SLICE will always stay on the test network and will not migrate to the main network.

AMM runs parallel to the order book

The release of SLICE also demonstrates Pi's hybrid DEX architecture. The core of Pi DEX uses a liquidity pool operation that allows users to instantly redeem tokens at market-driven prices, a mechanism similar to the automated market maker model widely used in decentralized financial platforms.

Pi Network has also introduced an additional layer of functionality through limit orders, allowing users to specify a target price at which they are willing to buy or sell tokens.

The exchange price is determined by the token balance in the liquidity pool, which is the standard AMM pricing method.

The Launchpad interface displays personal allocation details, offer prices and actual token prices, access points to the SLICE liquidity pool, and charts that track SLICE price changes relative to Test Pi.

The purpose of these test token offerings is to familiarize pioneer users with the new eco-token mechanism and build practical financial literacy around liquidity pooling, token redemption, and automatic pricing.

The test also allows Pi to collect data and feedback from pioneer users to help improve and optimize the Launchpad design in preparation for future mainweb releases.
