The threshold of XRP Rich List has been broken, and the number of wallets has reached a milestone

The number of XRP ledger wallets exceeded 8 million, and the threshold for holding has dropped significantly.

XRP Ledger is a milestone in innovation, with the total number of wallet addresses exceeding 8 million. According to the latest data released by the encryption media BSCN, the holding distribution of XRP has also changed significantly-today, the number of tokens needed to become the largest holder has been significantly reduced.

Updated wallet distribution data shows that now you only need to hold 2151 XRPs to enter the top 10% of all XRP wallets. This figure is significantly lower than the previous threshold of approximately 4000 XRPs, indicating that as the number of wallet addresses increases, the holding distribution of XRPs has become more extensive.

In terms of high-end holders, BSCN pointed out that according to the latest data, about 44000 XRPs are enough to enter the top 1% of holders.

Lower threshold reflects changes in holder distribution

The continued growth of XRP ledger wallet addresses has driven a reduction in the number of tokens needed to enter the top holder ranks. Although the network has exceeded 8 million wallets, the latest distribution data shows that holding concentration is declining-the number of tokens previously required to make it into the top 10% is almost twice that of the current one.

Data released by the BSCN focuses on wallet distribution rather than price performance, highlighting the evolution of the holder infrastructure as more participants join the XRP ecosystem. Although the total supply remains unchanged, the expanding number of wallets has changed the overall holding distribution of XRP.

Community views on data are divided

This latest milestone has triggered different interpretations from members of the crypto community. User Crypto_Beard questioned whether the growth in wallet numbers alone would fully reflect adoption. He believes that although 8 million wallets may seem impressive, the fact that only 2151 XRPs can enter the top 10% shows that a large amount of supply may still be concentrated in the hands of a few large households. In his view, experienced market participants may be more concerned about whale concentration than the increase in the number of wallet addresses.

user Sugee holds a different view, viewing this milestone as evidence of the steady expansion of adoption. He believes that the number of wallets exceeding 8 million reflects a broader holder base rather than activity driven solely by large investors. He also pointed out that more wallet numbers could strengthen XRP ledgers by improving liquidity, increasing practicality and enhancing network resilience. Sugee added that if demand continues to grow and the number of XRPs needed to enter the top holder ranks continues to decline, then this change in distribution dynamics will become increasingly important over time.
