Solana prices are trading around US$73, with differences between technical and chain data

After a month-long decline, Solana prices are currently trading around US$73. Analyst Ray sees the $85 to $90 range as a key breakthrough area. At the same time, Solana's online transaction volume hit a record high in June.

The Solana price is receiving market attention as traders pay close attention to whether the token can regain its previous breakthrough pattern after holding on to key support areas. The current SOL has remained at around $73 after recovering from a June low of around $60. Analysts are closely watching resistance between $85 and $90 for signs of renewed momentum.

Crypto Patel pointed out that Solana experienced an upward trend after experiencing breakthrough and backtest phases in 2021 and 2023. However, historical performance does not guarantee future results.

Solana price trend is similar to historical breakthrough structure

The current Solana price structure has triggered market comparisons with previous market cycles. According to Crypto Patel's analysis, SOL held key support areas during the previous fundraising phase before experiencing a sharp rise.

The analyst pointed out that the funding range is between $70 and $40, and long-term target prices may be $300,$500,$700 and $1000. The pattern also contains a key failure level, which is a closing price below $25 in a higher time frame.

At the same time, analyst Ray said that if Solana breaks through the $85 to $90 resistance zone, it is expected to challenge the $100 mark. SOL has rebounded by about 38% from its June low, with short-term momentum improving.

Ray pointed out that holding the $75 area is crucial to maintaining the current rebound structure. If the area cannot be held, the token may once again test lower support levels near $60.

Solana prices face historical weakness despite network growth

Solana price trends face continued selling pressure, and analyst Ted pointed out that SOL has closed negative for 10 consecutive months. The token fell to nearly $73 from about $296 in early 2025.

However, Internet activity continued to expand during the price decline. Solana processed nearly 4 billion transactions in June, setting a monthly record. The supply of stablecoins on the network also reached a high level, while the institutional Solana ETF recorded inflows of approximately US$1.45 billion.

The support area of US$72 to US$73 remains the main technical level for traders. As SOL attempts to rebound from a long-term decline, the market is watching whether buyers can hold on to the area. Solana's next move depends on whether prices can regain higher resistance while holding on to current support levels.
