BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, has launched two tokenized money market products designed to serve as reserve assets for stablecoins. This marks a new step for the company in introducing regulated financial products into blockchain infrastructure.
Product 1: BSTBL
The first product is called "BlackRock Selected Treasury Liquidity Fund Chain Shares"(BSTBL), which is the tokenized share category of BlackRock's existing "Selected Treasury Liquidity Fund" on Ethereum. Qualified investors can transfer shares of the tokenized fund between approved e-wallets, while the fund continues to invest in cash, short-term U.S. Treasurys, and overnight repo agreements backed by Treasurys.
Product 2: BRSRV
The second product is called "BlackRock Daily Reinvestment Stabilizer Reserve Tool"(BRSRV). It is a new tokenized money market fund for institutional investors. The fund supports multiple blockchains and automatically reinvests dividends every day. It is specially designed for digital asset application scenarios (including stablecoin reserve management).
BlackRock stated that according to the GENIUS Act, the federal stablecoin Act enacted in July 2025, the structures of these two funds are qualified to be reserve assets for issuers of stable coins in the United States.
This release further expands BlackRock's influence in the tokenized government bond market. Industry data shows that its "Dollar Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund"(BUIDL) is still the largest tokenized treasury bond fund, with assets under management exceeding US$2.6 billion.
