The Bitcoin ETF suffered a significant outflow of funds and sold a total of 966 BTC units, worth approximately US$61.16 million. BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, and Fidelity, one of the leading U.S. financial services companies, led the sell-off, making large sales reductions from their respective funds.
BlackRock and Fidelity led the massive outflow of Bitcoin
BlackRock's ETFs sold 227 BTC units worth US$14.34 million. At the same time, Fidelity's ETF sell-off was even larger, with approximately 739 BTC units worth US$46.82 million. These operations suggest that the two institutions may be adjusting their asset allocation strategies.
This trend is one of the recent large-scale capital outflows from Bitcoin ETF, which has attracted the market's attention to the actions of these two financial giants. Both have great influence in shaping the investment trends of traditional and crypto investors.
Against the backdrop of a large-scale bitcoin sell-off led by BlackRock and Fidelity, this outflow of ETF funds reflects investors 'caution under current market conditions.
During the capital outflow, Bitcoin traded at approximately US$63,690, and market sentiment remained dominated by uncertainty and caution. Analysts pointed out that an ETF sell-off of this magnitude could put downward pressure on Bitcoin prices, especially in an environment where investors are generally risk-averse.
Ethereum ETF records capital inflows
In contrast to the outflow of funds from the Bitcoin ETF, the Ethereum ETF experienced an inflow of funds, totaling 3920 ETH, worth approximately US$7.38 million. BlackRock participated in this trend, buying the same amount of ETH, indicating that investor preference may be shifting away from Bitcoin to Ethereum.
Ethereum is trading at approximately US$1,890, and the increase in ETF inflows suggests that some institutions and investors are reassessing its prospects and may view it as a more favorable option amid current market fluctuations.
This divergence between Bitcoin and Ethereum highlights the widening differences in market confidence and opportunity perceptions of the two largest cryptocurrencies.

Fidelity| 739 | 46.82 | 0 |0

Market observers continue to pay attention to these ETF movements as changes in fund allocation by industry leaders such as BlackRock and Fidelity may affect overall trends for institutional and retail investors.
