Bitcoin experienced a reverse kimchi premium in the Korean market

On August 14, Bitcoin recorded a reverse kimchi premium of-0.57% in the Korean market.

As of midnight on August 14, Korean Standard Time, the trading price of Bitcoin on the Upbit Exchange in South Korea was 90.1 million won, up 0.52% from the previous trading day. On the global trading platform Binhang, the price of Bitcoin is converted to 90.62 million won. There is a negative price difference of 520,000 won between the two, and the reverse kimchi premium is-0.57%.

Mainstream altcoins generally present a reverse kimchi premium

As a representative of mainstream altcoins, Ethereum recorded a reverse kimchi premium of-0.51%. Other major altcoins are also generally lower than the global market price, with Solana at-0.52%, Ripple at-0.49%, Doggcoin at-0.57% and Sui at-0.45%. Currently, the reverse kimchi premium of most mainstream altcoins remains within the range of-0.4% to-0.5%.
