OTHERS/BTC tests key resistance levels, the altcoin season enters a potential turning point
After a long decline, OTHERS/BTC is currently testing a key level of 0.13 BTC, which puts the relative strength of the altcoin at an important technical threshold. If it breaks through 0.13 BTC, the target may point to 0.53 BTC, but continued strong performance at the monthly level is still needed before a trend switch is confirmed.
ALTS has shown unusual strength against Bitcoin, but its US$9.75K market cap and zero transaction volume limit the credibility of technical analysis. As OTHERS/BTC tests resistance levels, the altcoin season may enter another potential transition phase, while smaller market capitalization assets are showing mixed signals relative to Bitcoin.
OTHERS/BTC approaches long-term breakthrough
The chart shows that after years of relatively weak declines, OTHERS/BTC is currently testing the 0.13 BTC region. This level is now a key watershed in distinguishing persistent weakness from potential structural recovery. The monthly time frame also helps filter out short-term noise across the market.

The chart shows some of the larger funding rotation periods in the past few cycles since 2017, including the 2017 altcoin season, the 2019 DeFi season, and the final peak season in 2021. In 2021, OTHERS/BTC began a long-term process of moving downward from highs.
The downward structure gradually compresses prices to the current breakthrough area. If we can continue to stand above 0.13 BTC, it will challenge this long-term model. However, only a brief upper shadow appears above the resistance level, and the confirmation signal will be relatively weak.
Shahnawaz recently proposed that 2026 may usher in a large-scale expansion of altcoins. He issued a post calling on traders to avoid panic selling during difficult market times and compared the potential gains of cryptocurrencies with recent trends in gold and silver.
Relative strength faces confirmation
Chart predicts that after the breakthrough, prices may move towards 0.53 BTC. This target means approximately 321.23% room for upside from the marked breakthrough area. Such performance requires altcoins to maintain continued strength relative to Bitcoin.
The predicted target is still a technical scenario rather than a confirmed result. Prices first need to confirm that they can effectively break through the resistance area of 0.13 BTC. If the monthly closing price can stand above this level, it will provide stronger evidence of structural changes.
Historical comparisons provide a background for our understanding of the previous period of rapid rotation. In the early cycle, altcoins tended to gain strength after a long period of poor performance. However, each market cycle develops under different liquidity and structural conditions.
If the breakthrough fails, the descending structure will remain technically valid. Prices may then retract back to the lower boundary of the pattern. In this case, the confirmation of the overall relative strength of the altcoin will be postponed.
Microdisk data sends out independent signals
ALTS's chart presents a different picture from the broader OTHERS/BTC structure. The trading price of the token is approximately US$0.057330, and the market value is only US$9.75K. Its reported 24-hour performance showed a decline of about 5.58%.

During most trading hours, Bitcoin's orange line remains below the day's opening reference line. At the same time, ALTS suddenly pulled up, with relative performance reaching about 2.7%. This sharp divergence of trends does not conform to the regular organic price discovery process.
The instrument reported zero trading volume for 24 hours, which brought huge uncertainty to the trend. It also lists approximately 257 holders and an unlocked valuation of $11.24K. As a result, the strength shown lacks the volume confirmation normally needed to support continued momentum.
Overall, the market landscape is still focused on resistance levels, confirmation signals and relative performance. Before more ambitious goals can take effect, OTHERS/BTC needs to continue to stand above 0.13 BTC. At the same time, microdisk signals require meaningful liquidity support to draw broader market conclusions.
