As of 0:00 a.m. on August 23, South Korea's Standard Time, the quoted price of Bitcoin (BTC) on the South Korea Upbit Exchange was 105.56 million won, down 1.81% from the previous day. On the global trading platform Binhang, the Korean won equivalent price of BTC is 106.89 million won, with a negative price difference of 1.33 million won between the two, and the reverse kimchi premium is-1.25%.
Mainstream altcoin Ethereum (ETH) recorded a reverse kimchi premium of-1.21%. Other major altcoins are also generally lower than global prices, including Solana (SOL) at-1.24%, XRP (XRP) at-1.07%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at-0.88%, and Sui (SUI) at-1.13%. Currently, the reverse kimchi premium of most mainstream altcoins remains within the range of-0.8% to-1.2%.
