Summary
Ripple has minted 15 million RLUSD on Ethereum while balancing the supply of stablecoins between Ethereum and XRP ledgers through continuous adjustments. Ethereum has more than $712 million in circulation, and the XRP ledger maintains a larger total supply of RLUSD despite higher destruction activity this week. Upbit and Bithumb launched RLUSD, while Ripple expanded corporate payments through its partnership with Notabene to support institutional stablecoin adoption.
According to the Ripple stablecoin tracker on the X platform, Ripple has minted 15 million RLUSD on the Ethereum blockchain. The issuance is part of a series of supply adjustments as RLUSD's liquidity on Ethereum and XRP ledgers grows.
According to the Ripple stablecoin tracker, recent blockchain activity shows that Ripple is actively managing RLUSD liquidity between its two supporting networks, with Ethereum recording additional token issues and XRP ledgers experiencing higher destruction activity over the same period. As a result, each network has reflected different supply trends over the past week.
Data from the Ripple stablecoin tracker website shows that Ethereum currently holds more than US$712 million in RLUSD in circulation. In addition, the network has minted 36.5 million RLUSD in the past seven days. During the same period, approximately 25.3 million RLUSD were removed from circulation through token destruction.
At the same time, the XRP ledger remains the larger network of RLUSD in terms of circulating supply. Although destruction activity was stronger than Ethereum this week, it currently holds approximately $873 million in stablecoins.
Ethereum supply increases, while XRP ledger destruction is higher
Recent on-chain activity reveals more changes in both blockchains. Ripple destroyed 15 million RLUSD on the XRP ledger in the past 24 hours. In addition, it minted another 10 million RLUSD on Ethereum on July 29, and subsequently completed the latest issuance of 15 million coins.
According to data from the Ripple stablecoin tracker, the XRP ledger has minted 65.4 million RLUSD in the past seven days. However, token destruction during the same period reached 68.7 million RLUSD. As a result, the total amount destroyed on the network is slightly higher than newly issued tokens.
Despite the stronger circulation of Ethereum, the XRP ledger is still the largest holder of RLUSD in circulation. These supply movements suggest that Ripple is adjusting liquidity between the two ecosystems while maintaining activity on each blockchain.
Korea Exchange adds RLUSD support
RLUSD has also expanded its market influence through listing on South Korea's new exchange. Upbit announced on July 28 that it supports the stablecoin, allowing users to make deposits and withdrawals through the XRP ledger.
In addition, Upbit launched trading pairs of RLUSD with Korean won, Bitcoin and USDT. The listing expands the stablecoin's access to one of South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchanges by trading volume and customer base.
In addition, Bithumb launched RLUSD on July 29. The exchange has launched the RLUSD/KRW trading pair and only supports deposits and withdrawals through the XRP ledger. Together, these two listings expand the availability of RLUSD on the country's leading digital asset platform.
Ripple expands corporate payment strategy
Ripple has also strengthened the corporate use of RLUSD through its partnership with Notabene. Notabene is a digital asset compliance platform with annualized transaction volume exceeding US$2 trillion. This partnership will integrate RLUSD into Notabene Flow and explore payment authorization functions along with Ripple Payments. In addition, the two companies aim to support compliant corporate stablecoin transactions in institutional payment networks, extending the use of RLUSD beyond exchange transactions.
Conclusion
Ripple's latest 15 million RLUSD minted on Ethereum reflects its ongoing strategy of managing the supply of stablecoin across multiple blockchain networks. At the same time, South Korea's new exchange listings and expanded corporate payment integration have strengthened the adoption of RLUSD in retail and institutional markets.
