Arqitech completed the first Canton Token Standard V2 atomic exchange, promoting bridgeless cross-chain settlement of institutions.

Arqitech has successfully completed the first batch of atomic exchanges based on Canton Token Standard V2 on the main website of the Canton Network, which is an important milestone for institutions to achieve bridgeless cross-chain settlement. Through these transactions, institutions can exchange Canton Coin (CC) directly on-chain into Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and TRON assets in a secure, all-or-nothing manner, without the need to hand over control of the assets to any intermediate party, and without the need to use cross-chain bridges or encapsulated tokens.

Changes brought by the V2 standard

Arqitech and Digital Asset jointly developed the Canton Token Standard CIP-0112 (now known as V2), which was approved by the Canton Foundation in June 2026. The standard introduces a "commitment allocation" mechanism, that is, irreversible locking before the specified settlement deadline, so that the Canton chain part of the cross-chain hash time-lock contract (HTLC) has the same time-lock protection as native chain settlement., meeting the organization's expectations for settlement reliability. Currently, the standard has supported more advanced institutional application scenarios, including de-trusted atomic exchanges and regulated real-world asset settlements.

Arqitech's atomic exchange protocol is designed so that each participant signs his own transaction, whether through the Enterprise Key Management Service or its own private node. The verification node is only responsible for preparing and submitting signed instructions, thereby ensuring full custody of the asset by the participant at every step.

Institutional counterparties have been actively involved in

Previous real-time exchanges on the Canton main network occurred between Arqitech, MPCH, Pixelplex and sFOX, with institutions exchanging Canton Coin for USDC. Each party has full control of its own private key in its own wallet, proving that regulated agencies can complete secure, atomic cross-chain transactions while maintaining asset custody.

Arqitech deployments are now online on Canton's main network, and atomic exchange capabilities will be available to customers in the coming weeks. Brian Wasserman, CEO of Arqitech, said: "Our atomic swap protocol provides native on-chain swap interoperability, liquidity and settlement channels while meeting the custody, audit and risk standards required by institutions."

This progress has further enriched the construction of the Canton ecosystem. Arqitech provides direct API access to banks, asset management companies, hedge funds and prime brokers, supporting de-trust exchanges, aggregation services covering more than 32 chains and more than 20 decentralized exchanges, privacy protected settlements based on the Canton Network, and a regulated real-world asset access, while customers always retain asset custody.
