Bitmine has purchased Ethereum again on a weekly basis, approaching 5% of total supply.

According to the latest financial disclosure, BitMNR has increased the number of Ethereum on its balance sheet by approximately 10,399 units in the past week. This purchase brought the company's total number of Ethereum units to approximately 5.8 million units, accounting for approximately 4.8% of Ethereum's entire circulating supply. Since the launch of Ethereum's financial strategy on June 30, 2025, Bitmine has continued to purchase ETH every week.

According to The Block's financial tracking data, its current holdings are 5,787,414 ETH units, valued at approximately US$10.8 billion. Chairman Tom Lee has formulated plans to acquire 5% of Ethereum's total supply, a goal the company calls internally the "alchemy of 5%."

Pledging earnings and MAVAN platform

This accumulation strategy is not a pure bet on price appreciation. The company has pledged 4,917,189 ETH units, accounting for approximately 85% of its holdings, and is expected to have annualized pledge revenue of US$254 million. Launched in 2026, MAVAN (American Manufacturing Verifier Network) is an institutional pledge platform that is currently providing services to external institutional investors, custodians and ecosystem partners.

While purchasing ETH, Bitmine also repurchased 6.1 million shares of common stock in the recent week under the previously authorized US$4 billion share repurchase program. With Wall Street's growing interest in blockchain and artificial intelligence, Chairman Lee sees Ethereum as a key bridge connecting blockchain infrastructure and AI applications.

Bitmine's trading code is $BMNR, which is one of the most dramatic corporate transformation cases in the cryptocurrency field in recent years. It has transformed from a traditional Bitcoin mining company to something more like a digital asset finance company, and Ethereum is its core asset.
