Ethereum treasury company Bitmine Immersion Technologies continues to increase prices

Last week, Ethereum treasury company Bitmine Immersion Technologies purchased another 10,399 Ethereum units and repurchased 4.5 million shares of the company's shares, continuing its cryptocurrency accumulation and share repurchase program.

On Monday, Bitmine said it held 5,797,813 Ethereum (ETH) units worth approximately US$10.9 billion. The company said its Ethereum holdings accounted for approximately 4.8% of the total Ethereum circulation of 120.7 million pieces. Bitmine aims to increase its position to 5% of Ethereum's total supply.

In addition, the company holds 209 bitcoins (BTC), US$173 million in cash and securities, and equity in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings. The total value of its cryptocurrency, cash, securities and other investments is approximately US$11.3 billion.

Bitmine said it has repurchased a cumulative 16.1 million shares of common stock since July 1 under a previously authorized $4 billion repurchase program, including 4.5 million shares purchased last week.

The disclosure follows Bitmine's announcement on July 28 of nearly 10,000 Ethereum purchases. At the time, the company said that about 85% of its Ethereum positions had been pledged through verification node operations.
