Ethereum Pledge Attracts Institutional Attention
After Bitmine increased its total pledge to 5,067,309 ETH (accounting for 87.4% of its positions), Ethereum Pledge attracted widespread attention. ETH is consolidating below resistance, and RSI and MACD indicators indicate its bearish trend is cooling. If a breakthrough is confirmed and accompanied by an increase in trading volume, the market focus may shift to higher resistance areas in future trading hours.
As corporate treasury participation expands, Ethereum pledge continues to attract institutional attention. At the same time, technical indicators show Ethereum is approaching a key chart structure that could determine its next direction.
Bitmine expands its pledge position in Ethereum
According to news, Bitmine has pledged an additional 150,120 ETH in the latest treasury configuration, with a valuation of approximately US$278 million. This addition increased its pledged position to 5,067,309 ETH, accounting for 87.4% of the company's total position in Ethereum. This update reflects institutions 'continued participation in the Ethereum proof-of-stake ecosystem, with most treasury assets still in pledge rather than immediately circulating.
The related map juxtaposes Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee with the Ethereum logo, visually highlighting the idea of long-term treasury management through pledge participation.
Resonance between Treasury Strategy and Technology
Pledges allow institutions to retain digital assets while receiving blockchain native rewards. This approach continues to attract long-term treasury managers seeking to efficiently reserve assets. Higher pledge participation rates have also reduced the supply of ready-to-use liquidity Ethereum, and market participants are closely watching this trend and changes in overall investor demand.
Technically, Ethereum has traded around US$1,854 in the last four-hour trading session, and prices continue to test the downward resistance line within a narrowing symmetrical triangle. The current chart reflects the narrowing of volatility after the July rally, as buyers and sellers compress prices into key technology areas.
Ethereum faces a key breakthrough test
Immediate resistance is still concentrated near the downtrend line. If a breakthrough is confirmed, it may strengthen bullish momentum in future trading sessions.

If buyers recover resistance, the market may turn to the psychological level of US$1,900, and then higher resistance at the end of July will become the next technical target. The momentum indicator reflects that the market environment is becoming more balanced. Although the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has gradually stabilized, it is still below the neutral line. At the same time, MACD continues to improve below the zero axis, trading volume remains sluggish, and breakthrough confirmation still needs to wait for market participation to recover.
As a result, Ethereum is still near a key technical decision point. Selling pressure seems to have eased in the recent trading session, but continued buying volume is still a necessary condition to confirm a trend reversal. Without stronger participation, consolidation may continue to unfold below resistance.
Bitmine's treasury expansion complements Ethereum's evolving technical structure-the former reflects institutional confidence, the latter measures market direction. Together, the two have put Ethereum in the spotlight, and traders are paying close attention to pledge growth and price movements to capture the next round of confirmations.
