South Korea's Bitcoin market reproduces a reverse kimchi premium

On August 8, Bitcoin experienced a reverse kimchi premium of-0.29% in the South Korean market. As of 00:00 on August 8, Korean Standard Time, the trading price of Bitcoin on the Upbit Exchange in South Korea was 91.28 million won, up 0.03% from the previous day. On the global exchange Binance, Bitcoin was traded at a price of 91.54 million won. The price difference between the two places was-260,000 won, corresponding to a premium of-0.29% for reverse kimchi.

As the leading altcoin, Ethereum has a reverse kimchi premium of-0.23%. Other major altcoins are also lower than global prices: Solana premium-0.42%, XRP premium-0.30%, Dogecoin premium-0.18%, Sui premium-0.30%. Currently, the reverse kimchi premium of most mainstream altcoins is concentrated in the range of-0.1% to-0.4%.
