Ethereum bull Tom Lee hints that ETH will rise again

BitMine Chairman Tom Lee said that Ethereum (ETH) is about to usher in a major breakthrough in technology and reiterated its bullish stance.

According to the technical analysis highlighted by Lee, the price of Ethereum is only about 3.5% away from the upper boundary of the Ichimoji Equilibrium Cloud on the daily chart. If ETH breaks this level, it will mark the first time since October 9, 2025 that it has stood above the clouds.

Ethereum is currently trading at around US$1,906, and the upper cloud boundary, which technical analysts watch closely, is also close to the current price as an important resistance level.

Breaking through the upper boundary of the one-eye equilibrium cloud is regarded as an important signal in technical analysis, indicating that the current trend may weaken or a new round of upward trend may begin. Therefore, continued breakthroughs are expected to pave the way for Ethereum to move towards higher prices.

Tom Lee remains bullish on Ethereum

Tom Lee maintains his previous optimistic view on Ethereum. In his July assessment, he said he expected the ETH/BTC trading pair to strengthen in the second half of 2026.

Lee's long-term arguments against ETH are based on the following factors: ETH's growing status as a monetary asset, the growing adoption of stablecoins, and the growing popularity of monetization of traditional assets on the blockchain.
