Important fluctuations in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogcoin and Ripple: Price levels worthy of attention
As the cryptocurrency market looks for short-term directions, major cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogcoin and Ripple are orthogonal to critical technology bits. Bitcoin runs smoothly around $64,200, while Ethereum is restricted around $1,900. Dogecoin continues to bear the pressure of its downward trend throughout 2025, and Ripple has fallen below the psychological barrier of US$1.
Bitcoin's narrow trading range raises questions
Although it rebounded from a low near $58,000 at the end of June, Bitcoin remained sideways for most of July and August. A brief breakthrough of the short-term moving average between $63,750 and $63,900 suggested a slight improvement in technical aspects, while the Relative Strength Index rose to 52, slightly leaning towards buyers. However, Bitcoin has not yet achieved a significant breakthrough. Short-term resistance is expected to be between $66,000 and $67,000, where the main moving average puts pressure downward, increasing the region's importance as a key point. Whether Bitcoin can break through the US$63,000 to US$66,300 range may signal the next clear market direction. Support is first at $63,000. If it breaks below, the focus will shift to the US$60,000 to US$61,000 area. The lows near $58,000 in June and July constitute the next major support, while the long-term outlook still depends on the $71,500 area.
Is Ethereum about to make a decision within a narrow range?
Ethereum is currently trading at around US$1,896, showing a clear convergence structure on the technical side. The interaction of prices with rising support lines and falling resistance lines suggests that the range is tightening. The short-term moving average is at $1,880, and the other key moving average is at $1,849, both below current prices. The Relative Strength Index is 53, indicating a lack of limited positive momentum under significant buying pressure; however, the $1,915 to $1,950 range remains a key resistance area, intersecting the downtrend line around the mid-term moving average around $1,917. If it breaks through US$1,950 strongly, it may break Ethereum's current convergent pattern and target may point to the range of US$2,000 to US$2,120. If a breakthrough fails to be triggered, the defense area may be between $1,850 and $1,880, and prices may fall back to the $1,750 and $1,800 areas after a break.
Dogecoin and Ripple: Is the pressure still on the horizon?
Dogecoin is trading around US$0.0699 and has not yet shown a clear signal to escape the long-term downward trend in 2025. The slowdown in August's decline did not produce a significant reversal signal, with prices below the short-term moving average of US$0.0707 to US$0.0718, setting this area as a preliminary resistance range. The upper moving averages of US$0.0802 and US$0.0958 remain downward. The relative strength index is 46, indicating that the kinetic energy is below the neutral level. If you break below the US$0.068 to US$0.070 range, you may target US$0.065, followed by the psychological level of US$0.060. Ripple is traded around US$0.998, with the key being below the US$1 mark. Short-term moving averages are around $1.039 and $1.074, indicating continued downward pressure. Further resistance is at $1.155 and $1.345 near the long-term moving average, posing a major obstacle to recovery.
Bitcoin's next major move may occur when it breaks through the US$63,000 to US$66,300 range. Ethereum's upside opportunity lies in breaking through the $1,950 barrier. Both Dogecoin and Ripple face challenges from continued downward trends and key resistance levels. These trends indicate that major cryptocurrencies are in a critical period. Breaking through key resistance levels or failing to hold key support levels may determine the future direction. As the market reacts to these key points in the coming days, it may provide more decisive signals. The much-watched support and resistance lines may contain clues to potential market shifts.
