ETH Various reports have disagreed on the launch time of the Platåberget test network.

The Glamsterdam-fork plan will be activated on August 20 on the Platåberget test website.
Glamestead introduces a separate state Gas dimension for operations that create new states, such as account creation or new storage.
Sending standard ETH transfers to existing accounts will still consume 21,000 Gas, but sending to new accounts will charge an additional status Gas fee.
Wallets, indexers, and Gas estimators that rely on fixed or hard-coded maximum Gas limits need to be updated or they will not work properly.
This upgrade also includes built-in proposor-builder separation, block-level access lists, and extended limits on contract code size.

The Ethereum Foundation urges developers to test their systems on Platåberget. The public test network was launched on August 13 and is scheduled to run for several months.
