Ethereum price analysis: The US$2,500 resistance level is in focus with the US$2,350 support level.
After the recent strong rise, Ethereum price is difficult to break through the US$2,500 mark, and the forecast market expectations attract attention. Forecasts from Kalshi traders suggest that ETH prices could reach $2,650 before the end of the month. Ethereum's weekly gain was about 20%. Inflows of spot ETF funds also supported the positive outlook, with investors focusing on the $2,500 resistance level and the $2,350 support level.
Kalshi investors expect Ethereum price target of US$2,650
In Kalshi's forecast market, expectations for Ethereum to reach US$2,650 by the end of the month are growing. After recent gains, investors are starting to price higher price levels, indicating that ETH's short-term optimism continues. The weekly Ethereum rose by about 20%, breaking the US$2,400 level, becoming an important development supporting this expectation. However, it should be noted that the forecasts in Kalshi's data are not firm pricing targets and only reflect the current expectations of market participants.
Spot ETF inflows support Ethereum price performance
Another development that supports Ethereum price performance is the inflow of cash ETH ETFs. Data showed that the Ethereum Spot ETF recorded a total net inflow of US$179.8 million on August 25. Most of the funds came from BlackRock's ETHA Fund, which received a net inflow of $146.44 million;Fidelity's FETH Fund ranked second with a net inflow of $25.75 million. Strong demand for ETFs suggests the continued interest of institutional investors in Ethereum.
ETH price faces key resistance of US$2,500
Ethereum traded at around US$2,451 on August 26, and short-term upward momentum weakened. The four-hour RSI indicator fell back to 55.57, indicating that overbought conditions formed during the recent rally have significantly normalized. This does not mean that market buying pressure has completely disappeared, but it shows that investors are looking for new directions.
Despite this, ETH prices remained above the key support level of US$2,350. If Ethereum can break through the $2,500 resistance level with strong trading volume and achieve a sustained close above that level, the upward momentum may re-strengthen. In this case,$2,600 and $2,800 may become important targets for investors.
Risk may increase if the US$2,350 support level falls below
The US$2,350 level is crucial for the continuation of Ethereum's rally. If the $2,500 resistance level fails to break through again and selling pressure increases, ETH may test the $2,350 area first. If this support level falls, the US$2,000 level may become a stronger support area. If there is a larger correction, the $1,800 level may come back into view. As a result, Ethereum investors are focusing on Kalshi's $2,650 forecast on the one hand and on the other hand on price fluctuations between the $2,500 resistance level and the $2,350 support level.
