Zcash: Technical Analysis and Outlook after Breaking US$900 Resistance
Zcash is currently trying to find a balance below the US$900 mark after experiencing a strong rise at the end of August. ZEC is currently trading at approximately US$801, and the near-term support area that investors are focusing on is between US$780 and US$790. Although technical indicators show that the short-to-medium trend remains upward, the weakening of short-term momentum suggests that Zcash prices may continue to fluctuate in the short term. If the market can successfully break through the resistance level of US$900, it is expected to further open up upside.
Looking for support afterrally
ZEC accumulated an increase of about US$400 in just one week during its strong rally at the end of August, and the price once climbed to the US$850 to US$900 range. The long-term consolidation of prices quickly reached this level, which greatly attracted the attention of investors. However, as gains slowed, ZEC pulled back about 5% to around $801. In the short term, the $780 to $790 range is seen as key support, while the $810 to $815 and $840 to $850 areas above constitute initial resistance.
The most important short-term resistance facing Zcash prices lies in the US$888 to US$900 range. Continued breakthroughs in the region will inject new impetus into the upward trend. According to TradingView analyst Wall_Street_Levels, once $900 is effectively exceeded, the next important technical target may point to $971. Conversely, if the support level of US$750 falls below, the broader support area of US$610 to US$650 may once again become the focus of market attention.
Technical side: Continuation of uplink signal
Judging from the technical form of a higher time period, Zcash's overall performance is still positive. Moving averages for the 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 cycles are all below current prices, indicating that the medium-and long-term uptrend is maintained. At the same time, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) remained high at around 67, close to overbought territory. Since most other momentum indicators remain neutral, this suggests that prices may need a break in the short term.
In addition, the improvement of institutional access is also one of the important factors driving Zcash to attract attention. Grayscale's financial products traded under the ZCSH code provide investors with a way to indirectly expose ZEC price fluctuations by regulating securities structures. Grayscale believes that with its focus on privacy protection and ability to use zero-knowledge cryptography for secure transactions, Zcash has become one of the high-profile projects in the digital asset market.
In addition, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has ended review or enforcement processes related to the Zcash Foundation, which has also contributed to reducing regulatory uncertainty within the ecosystem.
Summary assessment
To sum up, after a strong rebound at the end of August,$900 became the key resistance level for Zcash prices. If ZEC can hold on to the $780 to $790 support and then break through the $840 to $850 region, it will increase the possibility of retesting the $900. A solid breakthrough above $900 could start the journey to the $971 goal. On the contrary, if the US$750 support is lost, the selling pressure may intensify, and at that time, it is necessary to pay close attention to the support in the US$610 to 650 range.
