Circle的Arc区块链正式上线，传统金融巨头入局

Arc aims to provide an experience similar to traditional payment infrastructure. Gas fees are paid in USDC rather than volatile tokens, have a settlement time of less than one second, and are planned to support optional privacy features. Arc is seen as a new growth engine as Circle attempts to outpace its USDC stablecoin issuance business. Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire has publicly stated that Arc is a "greater opportunity than USDC."

Arc's public testnet was launched in October 2025 and processed more than 700 million transactions in less than a year. The TVL milestone on the first day shows that the demand is real and not just the hype caused by the validator list. However, the next 12 months will determine whether Arc can drive measurable ecosystem adoption or become another blockchain ecosystem that relies more on partnerships than actual use.
