Bitmine continues to increase its holdings in Ethereum, with its holdings exceeding 5.77 million.
Bitmine Immersion Technologies, which was previously transformed from a Bitcoin miner to a large holder of Ethereum, has purchased another 30,567 tokens in the past week, continuing to expand its altcoin exposure. At present, its total positions have reached 5.77 million, and this acquisition further consolidates its position as the world's largest Ethereum company holder.
refers to 5% supply
The company's long-term goal is to accumulate and control 5% of Ethereum's total supply. With the latest round of acquisitions, it has controlled more than 4.8% of the total circulation of Ethereum (approximately 120.7 million units), one step closer to its goal.
Company Chairman Tom Lee continues to be highly optimistic about Ethereum's long-term prospects. He believes that two structural trends continue to support this asset: the acceleration of tokenization of traditional financial assets and the growing demand for blockchain infrastructure from artificial intelligence applications.
He added that the much-awaited regulatory developments such as the CLARITY Act may further accelerate the adoption of smart contract platforms in institutions. In addition, he specifically mentioned Robinhood's new mainnet launched this month-another Ethereum-related initiative that sparked a craze once it was launched.
Lee pointed out: "One of the most successful cases in the cryptocurrency field in 2026 was the success of the Robinhood Chain L2 main network built based on Arbitrum on July 1. Its dollar trading volume has exceeded US$1 billion, and Robinhood Chain's trading volume now exceeds that of any other decentralized exchange (DEX), fully demonstrating the excellent practicality and product-market fit of Ethereum as the underlying chain."
He mentioned that Robinhood Chain uses Ethereum as a native Gas token, and all transaction fees are denominated in the world's largest altcoin and finally settled on Ethereum. This means Robinhood's 27 million user base is now paying ethereum-denominated encryption fees. In other words,"Ordinary users are starting to see Ethereum as currency."
The pledge business continues to expand
Bitmine continues to use its Ethereum reserves for pledge, and currently more than 4.9 million tokens have been pledged through its own institutional platform MAVAN. As one of the world's largest Ethereum validators, the company expects annual pledge revenue of approximately US$235 million.
It plans to pledge all of its positions, when expected revenue will increase to approximately US$277 million.
