Ethereum Technology Milestone: A Signal of Change in the Encryption Market?
Ethereum successfully broke through a key downtrend line, marking an important turning point in its recent market trend. This cryptocurrency has struggled to break through small resistance levels for a long time, and this breakthrough is one of the most substantial developments in recent months. However, experts caution that this incident alone cannot determine that a bull market is coming.
Recent Progress of Ethereum
Ethereum successfully broke through the downward resistance zone between US$1750 and US$1800, overcoming the high suppression caused by previous consecutive declines. The breakthrough came after a long-term bearish trend-which intensified further after previously being blocked at the $2400 level. Prices are currently consolidating around $1790, above the 50-day exponential moving average ($1740).
After regaining its 100-day exponential moving average (US$1755), Ethereum has established a solid support base below its current price. Market structures are beginning to shift in a positive direction, and momentum indicators are also showing a more optimistic outlook.
Resistance and support: What will the future of Ethereum hold?
Ethereum faces a resistance range between $1800 and $1850, a level that has challenged upward momentum in multiple attempts in the past. If Ethereum can continue to stand above this range, it may target the 200-day exponential moving average (approximately $2220). However, trading volume remains the focus of analysts. Despite the positive signals on the technical front, a significant increase in trading activity is needed to confirm support from institutional funds, thereby alleviating concerns that the current rally is mainly driven by short-term traders.
Ethereum's technological breakthrough occurred above the $1750 to $1800 resistance level.
If it exceeds US$1800, it may target the 200-day exponential moving average of US$2220.
Increased trading volume is the key to confirming long-term support.
Ethereum is still below long-term resistance and continues to trade below the 200-day moving average. However, after breaking through key trend line obstacles, the short-term pattern has changed.
At the same time, XRP is seeking recovery from recent challenges and resisting pressure to fall below key support levels.
Bitcoin's price is below an important resistance cluster, which may determine its future direction.
Currently, Ethereum is showing expected resilience and is cautiously at a crossroads. Recent breakthroughs highlight the potential for upward momentum, but this depends on the support of institutional funds and increased trading volume.
