Ethereum breaks through the $1800 barrier,$2000 and $2200 form key resistance

Ethereum (ETH) has regained its position at the $1800 barrier after recovering from its June low, but resistance levels around $2000 and $2200 will determine whether this round of rebound can continue.

Core Points:

·Ethereum has rebounded from the $1500 demand area and regained the $1800 mark.
·Resistance levels near $2000 and $2200 remain the main obstacle.
·Exchange reserves have dropped to approximately 15.3 million ETH.

Ethereum faces resistance

Ethereum has rebounded from the $1500 demand area and regained its footing at $1800. The daily chart shows that the token is still in a wide downward channel, with its upper rail meeting the 100-day moving average around $2000.

The region has triggered selling pressure. If we can continue to break through this channel, the market's attention will turn to the US$2,000 - 2,200 range, with the 200-day moving average forming another barrier. A breakthrough of $2200 would mark a more meaningful shift in market structure and leave room for a broader rebound.

The four-hour chart shows stronger recent trends, including a double bottom pattern formed around $1500 and a rising channel of higher highs and higher lows. Ethereum once hit about $1950, but then suffered sellers 'pressure and fell back, making $1800 a key price to judge whether the current correction is profit-taking or a deeper reversal.

Market analyst Shayan's opinion

Market analyst Shayan pointed out that holding on to $1800 would maintain a short-term bullish structure and support another attack on the resistance range above $2000. If this support level is effectively broken, it will first expose US$1720, followed by the US$1,620 - 1,640 order block area, which has previously attracted buyers back.

Exchange data shows a favorable background. According to analysis, the centralized trading platform currently holds approximately 15.3 million ETH units, close to the lowest level in recent years.

Falling reserves usually means that funds are shifted to self-custody or long-term storage, thereby reducing the amount of immediately available supply, although this indicator does not guarantee a price increase.

Therefore, the next step depends on both price confirmation and continued reduction in supply. Ethereum has climbed from a level of about $1500 in June to about $1950 before falling back to the upper and lower track of the rising channel.

This process shows how quickly Ethereum has rebounded, but also shows that the token is still below the moving average that has repeatedly limited gains.
