Institutions expand Ethereum-based financial products
Institutions are reportedly launching real-world blockchain products rather than being limited to limited market testing. Financial institutions continue to adopt Ethereum globally to conduct regulated digital asset businesses.
SBI Group recently cooperated with blockchain infrastructure provider Startale Group to launch the yen stablecoin JPYSC. The Japanese financial institution serves approximately 78 million customers in global financial markets. The yen-backed stablecoin runs directly on the Ethereum blockchain infrastructure and is open to institutional applications around the world. Its issuance reflects the increasing participation of institutions in the regulated blockchain financial ecosystem.
Financial institutions continue to choose Ethereum as a tokenized product to support global compliant digital financial services. The network maintains growing adoption rates among regulated participants entering the blockchain financial market.
Asset managers expand Ethereum business layout
BlackRock currently operates BUIDL tokenized treasury bonds funds directly on its Ethereum blockchain infrastructure. According to reports, the fund manages more than US$2.6 billion in assets. Franklin Templeton launched BENJI, the first tokenized money market fund in the United States registered on Ethereum. The fund demonstrates the institutional adoption of traditional finance and blockchain financial services globally.
Invesco launched USTB, a tokenized treasury bond fund that leverages Ethereum's mature blockchain ecosystem. Junli Henderson has also launched tokenized investment products including JTRSY and JAAA. These tokenized products demonstrate that institutional participation in Ethereum's regulated digital asset ecosystem is expanding. Asset managers are increasingly deploying blockchain-driven financial instruments around the world through Ethereum and related networks.
Ethereum supports institutional financial infrastructure
JPMorgan Chase launched JPMD deposit tokens through Ethereum's Layer 2 blockchain network Base. Tokenized treasury bonds products related to institutional finance are also now operating in Ethereum's broader ecosystem. WisdomTree currently manages more than 13 tokenized funds distributed across the Ethereum, Base and Arbitrum blockchain networks. Its tokenized product support institutions gain access to Ethereum's expanding financial infrastructure ecosystem. Societe Generale issued tokenized green bonds on Ethereum through its SG-FORGE digital asset platform. This issuance broadens Ethereum's institutional application scenarios in the global regulated financial product market.
