Bitmine Immersion Technologies holds 5.79 million Ethereum units, with a pledge ratio of 85%.
Bitmine Immersion Technologies disclosed on Monday that its total Ethereum holdings have reached 5.79 million ETH units, accounting for approximately 4.8% of the total circulating supply. The company released the data after increasing its holdings of nearly 10,000 ETH units in the past week, a move that further consolidates its position as a major corporate holder of digital assets.
Pledge business helps increase revenue
Bitmine said that it has pledged approximately 4.9 million ETH units through exclusive verification node operations, accounting for 85% of its current investment portfolio. The company expects that once its Ethereum assets are fully deployed to its own pledge infrastructure and cooperative verification node network, annualized pledge revenue is expected to reach US$299 million.
As of July 26, Bitmine's total crypto-asset holdings, together with cash and marketable securities, have reached US$11.8 billion. Market observers believe that the company's large-scale participation in Ethereum pledges is a key factor in maximizing profits amid changes in the digital asset market environment.
Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee pointed out that the ETH/BTC ratio has hit a three-month high, which he interpreted as a signal that Ethereum's momentum relative to Bitcoin is increasing. He hinted that this is expected to support the company's continued strategic shareholding and pledge actions.
Recent technical indicators show that it is increasingly important for institutional and individual investors seeking to diversify their portfolios to pay close attention to key resistance levels. Some platforms make participation in such markets smoother by allowing users to access real-world assets such as U.S. stocks, gold, and silver directly through their wallet infrastructure. By identifying the best prices in real time, these platforms allow investors to quickly execute mainstream stocks and commodities transactions, providing them with additional flexibility and access opportunities.
Ethereum outperforms Bitcoin
Ethereum outperformed Bitcoin in the past week. According to CoinGecko, ETH prices have risen 2.4% in the past seven days, while Bitcoin has fallen about 0.7%. Market participants are closely watching these changes as signals of the evolution of trends among top cryptocurrencies.
The company said its latest increase in Ethereum holdings has made Bitmine the world's largest holder of corporate Ethereum reserves, second only to Strategy in terms of total digital asset value.
Bitmine's strategy has begun to diverge from its important industry peer Strategy. Bitmine continues to increase its holdings in Ethereum, while Strategy recently suspended its holdings in Bitcoin.
Strategy Recent News
On Monday, Strategy raised $544.5 million through stock sales, completed a $25 million STRC preferred share repurchase, and increased its U.S. dollar reserves to $3.75 billion. The company's Bitcoin holdings remain at 843,775 BTC, reflecting its prudent strategy in digital asset fund management.
Industry analysts are watching these developments closely as both companies adopt vastly different portfolio strategies amid changes in digital asset valuations and continued corporate activity.
