Morgan Stanley launches Ethereum and Solana ETFs to support pledge functions

Morgan Stanley, one of the world's largest investment banks, is continuing to expand its cryptocurrency investment products. The bank, which had previously launched Bitcoin spot ETFs, has now launched new ETF products for investors called the Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) and the Morgan Stanley Solana Trust (MSOL). The two funds began trading today on the NYSE Arca Exchange. The most eye-catching feature of the new product is that some of its Ethereum and Solana assets will be operated through a pledge mechanism, bringing additional income to the fund.

Pledge gains will directly drive the growth of ETF assets.

The MSSE and MSOL funds launched by Morgan Stanley do not pledge all Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) assets held in the portfolio, but only include certain portions of them in the pledge process. The resulting pledge rewards will not be collected as income by the company. Instead, the new tokens obtained will be added directly to the ETF's portfolio. In this way, the total asset value of the fund will naturally increase over time, and investors can also indirectly enjoy the pledge income. The company also announced that annual management fees for both ETFs will be set at 0.14%.

Competition in the cryptocurrency ETF market accelerates

In the United States, growing interest in spot cryptocurrency ETFs is driving major financial institutions to develop new investment products. In particular, ETFs that support pledges not only allow investors to profit from price fluctuations, but also indirectly benefit through the pledge rewards provided by the blockchain network, thus attracting the attention of many investors. This model creates additional value for institutional and individual investors who want to make long-term investments.

Experts believe that Morgan Stanley's launch of Ethereum and Solana's ETFs may further facilitate institutional investors 'access to the cryptocurrency market. In addition, this development will also help promote wider recognition of ETFs that support pledge functions in the financial industry. Analysts expect that the increase in the number of similar products in the future may not only expand institutional demand, but also enrich investment options for digital assets.

Evaluation

Morgan Stanley launches Ethereum and Solana ETFs with pledge capabilities, demonstrating that integration between traditional finance and cryptocurrency ecosystems is accelerating. Including pledge rewards directly into ETF assets provides investors with an innovative model that is expected to create additional value in the long term. With ETF products covering Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana, Morgan Stanley has consolidated its position in institutional cryptocurrency investment, which also indicates that more similar products may emerge in the future.
