Plume introduces institutional-level working capital finance to the chain.

Plume Network has launched FACTOR, a new income-generating vault designed to provide chain investors with institutional-level factoring, financing and infrastructure investment opportunities. The vault was built by Plume Network in conjunction with U.S. private equity firm Deep Ocean Partners and Tradable, which is responsible for tokenization infrastructure and trading markets. Deep Ocean Partners focuses on providing customized credit solutions to high-growth companies.

Plume obtains underlying asset positions from Deep Ocean Partners through Tradable Markets. The initial investment portfolio includes invoice factoring, revolving credit lines and other short-term asset-backed loans, giving depositors access to net working capital financing opportunities covering asset-backed loans, accounts receivable financing and related infrastructure assets.

Target annualized rate of return of 14% and weekly redemption mechanism

@plumenetwork sets a net annualized rate of return (APY) target of more than 14%. In order to maintain weekly liquidity, the project uses three mechanisms: a liquid asset reserve, regular invoice collection and a repurchase agreement with Deep Ocean Partners, which covers some of the exposure risks. The gains are not achieved by pursuing low-credit-quality assets, but by recycling funds in short-term accounts receivable.

The vault's capacity is capped at US$15 million. According to relevant reports, before the official launch, investor demand exceeded the initial allocation amount, resulting in the treasury being oversubscribed and reaching the upper limit when it went online. At the time of the announcement, early deposits were approximately $1.3 million. As Deep Ocean Partners and Tradable add more capacity, the vault is expected to expand further.

This release marks another important step by Plume to introduce real-world asset (RWA) financing into the chain. Previously, Plume has launched other treasury products linked to payment financing and stableco-backed accounts receivable.
