SUI Sui and Daya have entered into a partnership to provide Gas-free stablecoin payment services to African companies
Sui announced a partnership with Daya to provide Gas-free stablecoin trading services to companies across Africa. This cooperation is committed to simplifying cross-border payment processes and optimizing fund management efficiency. As stablecoins gain increasing recognition as a reliable payment option in the region, this collaboration aims to address common challenges faced by African companies in cross-border settlement and remittance transfers.
Daya integrates Sui for seamless commercial payments
Daya has incorporated Sui into its settlement infrastructure, allowing companies to perform stablecoin transfers that do not require network Gas fees. The integration has been fully launched on Daya Business, Daya Pro and Daya APIs, further expanding access to payment, liquidity, remittance and developer services.
Currently, Daya mainly operates in Nigeria and plans to launch more local currency channels in South Africa, Ghana and Kenya. This cooperation aims to leverage Sui's Gas-free transaction capabilities to reduce operating cost frictions, thereby making cross-border transactions by African companies more efficient.
Sui's Gas-free model eliminates the need for companies to hold or manage separate SUI token balances. Instead, supported stablecoins (such as USDC) are used directly as payment assets, simplifying settlement and fund management operations for both mainland users.
