The analyst cited real-world asset tokenization platform Ondo Finance, suggesting the unit could jump from $3 trillion to $100 trillion. However, existing forecasts do not indicate that this growth is directly attributable to Ondo.
Research by companies such as TD Cowen shows that the total value of tokenized assets could reach US$100 trillion by 2030. Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Ripple expect growth to about $16.4 trillion over the same period, while McKinsey puts the market size between $2 trillion and $4 trillion. Standard Chartered Bank expects monetized assets to reach US$2 trillion by the 2028's.
These forecasts refer to the entire real-world asset tokenization industry, not just Ondo's share. The claim that Ondo led the jump from $3 trillion to $100 trillion lacks official data to support it.

Tether continues to maintain a reserve buffer of approximately $4.1 billion, which provides a significant cushion against recent claims and freezes, and insists the stability of its USDT tokens remains intact.
While these developments provide real news, they do not yet pose a direct risk to Tether's ability to maintain the dollar peg.
