Stellar reportedly holds US$3.5 billion in tokenized physical assets, ranking third in the latest comparison.

It is reported that the value of tokenized physical assets (RWAs) held by Stellar Network has reached US$3.5 billion, ranking third in the latest comparison data, behind Ethereum and BNB Chain. According to Scopuly, the size of tokenized treasury bonds, money market funds, credit and sovereign debt on Stellar has increased by 360% this year.

The exchange heat chart shows that Binance's trading volume is highly concentrated, while Kraken leads the way in net flow displayed, providing another perspective on market activity. With the value of tokenized assets reported to reach US$3.5 billion, Stellar's RWA growth is attracting widespread attention, making it one of the leading blockchain platforms in institutional finance.

The value of Stellar tokenized assets rises

According to Scopuly, Stellar has become one of the world's largest blockchain platforms for tokenized physical assets. The network currently holds approximately US$3.5 billion in tokenized assets, ranking behind Ethereum and BNB Chain. Scoply also noted that Stellar's tokenized asset economy has expanded by approximately 360% this year.

This increase reflects interest in introducing traditional financial instruments into blockchain infrastructure. These instruments include government bonds, money-market funds, credit and sovereign debt. Institutional investment products are also emerging in expanding asset classes.

Tokenization is the use of blockchain-based tokens to represent ownership or financial claims. It enables digital issuance, transfer and settlement while retaining the underlying legal arrangements. However, issuer participation, investor needs and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements remain key factors in widespread adoption.

This ranking puts Stellar in a competitive area for institutional blockchain applications. In the above comparison, Ethereum and BNB Chain still occupy the lead. However, rankings may change based on reporting date, asset coverage and valuation methodology.

Institutional assets expand beyond payments

Scopuly's report shows that Stellar is more than just a network focused on payments. Its infrastructure supports the issuance and transfer of digital assets in blockchain-based applications. Tokenized financial products provide another potential use for these capabilities.

Treasury bonds and money market funds connect blockchain networks with traditional financial instruments. In addition to financial assets, tokenized credit and sovereign debt have also broadened the range of assets represented. These assets have real value only if enforceable ownership rights, liquidity, and a reliable redemption system exist.

However, the increase in total assets does not automatically translate into corresponding demand for XLM tokens. Individual products may adopt different settlement mechanisms and liquidity mechanisms. Therefore, the relationship between network growth and native token demand needs to be evaluated separately.

When assessing its durability, this 360% growth also needs to be viewed in context. Starting values, measurement periods and methodology can all affect the understanding of this percentage. More data on individual issuers can clarify which products contribute the most to expansion.

Trading activity provides different market perspectives

The accompanying seven-day exchange heat map shows a highly distributed concentration of trading volume. Binance topped the list with approximately US$603.72 million in transaction volume, followed by Coinbase with US$203.22 million in transaction volume. OKX's trading volume was US$169.63 million and Upbit's was US$155.27 million.

Source: CoinglassGate and Kraken recorded approximately US$123.82 million and US$118.11 million in transaction volume, respectively. Bitget registered US$102 million and Bybit reached US$92.25 million. These data describe displayed exchange activity rather than the value of Stellar tokenized assets.

The net flow panel shows the different distribution between exchanges. Kraken ranks first with a valuation of approximately $128,450, while Upbit has a valuation of $112,190. Coinbase recorded $105,320, while Bitget reached $101,330.

This suggests that transaction volume and net flow are two different activities. Binance has the largest transaction volume, while Kraken has the highest net traffic. These flows do not independently verify long-term accumulation or future price movements.

For Stellar, the most direct indicator of progress is continued token issuance and capital flow. Asset valuations provide a snapshot; cyclical transactions can be used to measure how used the network is in practice. As a result, the reported $3.5 billion milestone reflects increased visibility, but further growth still requires the participation of issuers, investors and institutions.
